n3l to open a big jump but not much choice if your down at tampa..centeno's #3 went through both n2L and n3l then tried starter hdcp 16k and ran even..I'd take a small shot with him but nothing great

I would say ny state bred allowance a lot better than 16k clm at tampa..his form wasn't so good in those which would bother me a bit

going to do oaklawn and santa anita..supposed to rain heavy (hasn't yet)at the former so do the first 3 and see what happens..not gonna play if it's an off track..shame as it's a great card there today including their first leg in the triple crown preps the southwest stakes

as he finished 4th both attempts ..feel he's probably different horse now as a 4yo and think he'll crush this field ..other than that no interest in race

like the maiden breaker from the rail in a 10 horse field at churchill last out..the fact they'd run here off that win shows they must think a lot of him..blistering works at this track and the fact he's a 510k 2yo purchase by #1 sire tapit won't hurt his chances either..think he could have a big future ahead but one step at a time..slop shouldn't hurt his chances with his pedigree

accuweather says it's supposed to start raining around first race there..the radar looks like it might be later so at least some of the earlier races might be alright..they probably have a schedule mapped out for him and want to get this race under his belt..guessing oaklawn handicap in april..see what happens

2nd to a $97 first time starter..the trainer of that horse is 19/55 in maiden claiming races amazing to get that kind of price with that stat..won convincingly to boot..gonna look at the latter part of santa anita R6+

as much as I'd like to try to beat this horse there's just too many positives to pass him up..probably an underlay but gonna be my choice anyway

horror trip first out and switched to baffert from romans..gets blinkers and solid work pattern as is the case with most sent out by bob...strict sprinters pedigree and by an up and coming sire who's siring expensive horses relative to his stud fee..cost 175k as a 2yo with little production on the bottom of the pedigree which usually means horse is a physical specimen

good follow..jock aimed him inside top stretch then decided to take him back outside which of course caused him to lose momentum. .finished with a flourish last 100 yards and missed by a half length at 6-1..had a tough trip in his race before also and finished well

never seen a guy who gets so many expensive well bred horses and they go to crap under his care as wayne lukas..totally livs off the glory days of the 80's and 90's..
not saying he won't develop a good horse once in a while but his batting average is poor considering what he gets to work with..this horse cost 700k and jacobson claimed him out of a 40k mdn clm race in his 19th start (probably first time he was up for sale ) ..been running lights out ever since..I know some think it might be cheating but I feel it's just somebody who knows what he's doing and pays more attention to detail. .btw he owns him as he does with most of the horses he trains these days

didn't cheat winning last in almost wire to wire fashion..pace figs to the quarter and half mile were about 7 lengths faster than par..trainer 3/7 with claiming repeaters and is 25/101with claimers overall

only mto and just lays over this field on dirt..trainer 27% with repeaters (he won last race)and within that group 34% with claiming repeaters over a good size sample
