I have an account on Betfair - they have a fantastic selection and, IMHO, over 30 Million MINIMUM going through there each and every day (on weekends and for special events, I would put my guess at over 50 MIL). I've been with them for over a decade without problem. The only drag is that payouts take about 5 bus days in Canada & you pay for the wire service...

There you play against other folks - not a 'book' & if you are paying attention - there is free $$$ to be had.

I did a pile of hockey & horse racing with them--kinda funny talking about them because I just found a lot of my of data.
