Yup you are right there. I always seem to lose bets against Tampa at home. I have finally learned my lesson. I will never bet against Tampa at home as dogs.

Not much to say here Pens losers of 4 straight are overdue for a win big time. Pens are 3-0 in 3 meetings vs the Panthers this season and 7-3 in the last 10 meetings, including 5 of the last 6. Gotta imagine PIT finally gets it done tonight.

Yeah for sure I would lean towards the over. World Junior games usually have a lot of goals in them.

HAHA, yeah they will likely blow them both out of the water at home since they will be on extreme tilt. Who knows though, I might avoid them til they win one.

That's brutal, yeah they started out so good. Shots were 18-9 up 2-0 was looking like a standard Pittsburgh game then Panthers scored a late one in 1st. Then another two late in the 2nd to kill the Pens morale.

did you watch the game? i wonder what happened. last year i watched every penguins game when i had the NHL Center ice package. this year i havent followed as much.
i wonder what is wrong with them. they are not missing any of the key players from earlier this year. what has gotten into them. getting blown out by bad teams after having a multiple goal lead in third. i wonder if Fleury had been shaky or what. Their offense is really cold too. with all those great offensive players you would think that they can easily come up with 3 goals a game at least.

so is anyone gonna do Martingdale and bet on the Pens/Thrashers game? i might if the line is around -120. if its at -200 there is no way.

you are right that Penguins have a tendency to go on runs, good ones and bad ones. i watched pretty much every Penguins game last season and this was definately happening.
the only thing is that last year the players were having a major problem with Therrien and then when Bylsma took over they went on this 18-6 run. I guess it was a kick in the ass.
problem with this is that now they won the Cup so they wont be as determined to win. they might also be wearing out because of the short off season. just look at what happened with detroit. also the organization is not gonna fire the coach that won them the cup over a bad run like this. i can see penguins losing another 2-3 games in a row.
