Damn, I took the Stars tonight on the moneyline @ Minnesota, and they lost by 1, but I think they were slight underdogs, meaning I should have taken +1.5, and I would have won. Their next game is at San Jose, and then onto Phoenix.

Any thoughts? SJ is a tough team (and my home team)

Should I continue onto B and C bets?

I WILL TELLYOU WHAT THE SYSTEM SAYS, IF YOU CAN PLAY THE pl PLAY IT SO SENCE IT WOULD HAVE WON AT THE PL YOU SHOULD MOVE ON. BUT I UNDERSTAND NOONE LIKES THE JUICE INVOLVED WITH THIS SYSTEM. AS FAR AS WETHER YOU BELIEVE THEY WILL WIN AGAIN WITHOUT THE SYSTEM I WOULDN'T RISK IT.

Yeah I'm just going to forget about it. That's what I get I guess. However, on some of the earlier bets, I bet on the moneyline when supposed to bet on pl, and they won the game so I avoided the +1.5 juice, so I would say it's about even.

LA should be a play it meets the criteria..

Their on their 2nd road trip and they are no where near having the worst road record right now..

Good and bad news so far after going through this season's data in the NHL, looking for a possible any 3-game road trip A-B-C series betting system.

This season so far if one was to bet every visiting team heading out on a 3 game road trip (and split 6-game trip into two bets) on a straight moneyline bet record would be:

76 A wins
43 B wins
17 C wins

for 136 total wins which sounds nice.

However, you would encounter, if you bet moneyline with no filters:

27 losses

Your record is 136-27 and with series betting you are down for the season.

So with those numbers we have no system.

HOWEVER, if we bet the +1.5 line on all our road teams (when available and looking at the games only one team would have been favored on the road, DET), we would see

22 of those losses turn to wins
as there was at least one game in the series where our team lost by 1 goal.

Further, if we eliminated playing teams in the second 3 of a 6-game roadie, we could eiminate another

3 losses (and one of those was DET)

So we are down to 2 outright losses

The last filter that we could apply would be to elminate betting on the teams with the 5 worst road records (or 4 or 3, something like that).

That would eliminate another loss as OTT would not have been a play.

That would leave us with ONE outright loss, Carolina series starting on Jan. 8 of this year.

So applying a +1.5 betting strategy, skip the second 3 games of the long trips, don't bet on the absolute worst road teams, you could come up with a record of

145-1

(the original 136 wins plus the 22 gained by betting +1.5, take off 13 wins by skipping second set of 3 on 6-game trips and taking off the losses that simply would not have been bet.)

Is that clear to everyone? I'm sure not.

Anyway, that's all I've got. If this would work for previous seasons I am not sure yet but I invite anyone to take a look.

Yeah I guess... I was just hoping that maybe the line would switch to them being the favs since the PL and ML moved so much.

Since I'm not betting much the diff between -245 and -280 isn't much, so it's not that big of a deal, but those f***ers better lose by 1 or else Imma be kickin myself.

Looks like some are playing the 3 game road trips on the premise of another systems cross conference requirements and others on just any 3 game road trip...Looks like the sread sheet is for any road trip.

I've been picking only winning teams w/a good road record for my
system bets.

Another filter I use: I don't bet on the A bet if the home team has
a better home record. I'll bet on the B or C bet if the home team
has a losing record.

No, mcbain isn't posting picks, the plays are mine.

I just go to any NHL standings site, look at the winning teams
w/a good away record and look at when they have a 3 game
away series. Same conf. or not.

The added filter I use is, only bet when the home team has a
losing home record compared to the away record.

rkelly...hmmmmmmmmmmmmm, I am playing on the any road trip premise as in the spread sheet and just filtering out the rd team if it was under .500 on the rd...wasnt really considering the hm teams hm rcd...

I can understand McBains aggrevation...I do thank him though for his efforts and appreciate the systems play foundation...

I thought I saw somewhere to wait till the 25 game mark to filter out the .500 rd rcd, but I am doing it now nontheless...

So I guess with CLB at 4-2-2 at hm your not playing ANA (2-2-2) on a B bet +1.5 pl today?...
