Picks for 3/1/2013 (made one change from my leans, going Wild/Ducks Over):

Blue Jackets @ Blackhawks, Under 5.5 (-140) - Really like this pick (almost too much juice but I'll take it under -150). Out of Chicago's last 10 games, 8 have stayed Under including the last 4. Out of Chicago's 4 BTB games, 3 have hit the under including both home games. For the Blue Jackets, 6 of the last 10 have hit the under including 4 of the last 5. Chicago may be tired and probably wont get as many goals as they'd like but I think they lock down on Defense. Couldn't believe this line was at 5.5 actually. The only thing that worries me is that the HTH between these two teams has gone over 5 of their last 7 games. However, the last game ended 1-0 and I have more confidence in the current trends from this year (more specifically the last 10 games) than I do last year. Like the Under.

Blue Jackets @ Blackhawks, Blue Jackets +1.5 (-115) - Talk about a value pick. Out of the last 10 games for the Blue Jackets, 7 have been within one goal. Out of the last 10 losses by the Blue Jackets, 6 have been within one goal. 5 of the last 6 Blue Jackets losses have been by 1 goal. Now for the fun part... The Blackhawks have had 9 games at home all year, they have won 8 of them. Out of those 8 wins, 7 have come by 1 goal. Only 1 of their home wins has been by more than one goal and that was coming off of two days rest. Again, only thing that worries me is that HTH the Blackhawks PL against the Blue Jackets is 6-1 over the last two years (with that 1 coming a few days ago). Still, coming off a B2B the Blackhawks are 4-0, but 3 of those wins have come by 1 goal. Couple that with the stats above and I'm still taking Blue Jackets +1.5.

Oilers @ Blues, Under 5 (+105) - For some reason, the Blues have had major struggles at home as of late. In their last 7 home games, they have scored a total of 9 goals, and 5 of those came in one game. The last 4 Blues game have gone Under as they continue to struggle finding the net. The Oilers have had 9 road games all year, and only 2 have gone Over 5 goals while 4 have gone Under. The Oilers have scored 11 goals in their last 5 games but five of those came last night against a Dallas team that has been playing poor Defensively. Blues have the 2nd best PP% in the league, but the Oilers have the 4th best PK% in the league. If the Oilers can keep from committing penalites, I like the Under here.

Oilers @ Blues, Oilers ML (+150) - Oilers have been playing very well in their last 3 and with they looked great last night with Hall back. Blues havn't looked great in their last 4 and have a home record of 1-6 in their last 7 games. The Blues are also 1-3 on B2B's. Both teams are coming off a B2B but I just like the way the Oilers have been playing lately. Taking them here for what I think is a great value pick at +150.

Wild @ Ducks, Over 5 (even) - Switched this bet. Ducks been scoring like crazy lately, Wild might have their backup goalie in and I just like the Over here. Could see a 4-2 or 5-1 type of score here. Fasth has been great at home but the Ducks have the best PP% in the league and are going against a Wild team on the second leg of a B2B. Think there will be quite a few PP opportunities for the Ducks and I think this one will go Over.

Wild @ Ducks, Ducks PL (+165) - This is the pick I'm least confident in. The Ducks don't blow many people out but they are playing a Wild team that is on the 2nd leg of a B2B, both being road games. Ducks are great at home and while the Wild have been playing well lately, I think the Ducks are rolling right now, esp at home, and take this one by a 3-1 maybe even 4-1 type of score.

1-4-1.. awful night. done with PL on teams that are over juiced. Always get screwed by that. no more. if i dont want the juice and dont have confidence in the PL, no more bets lol. my record against the PL is awful. sorry mates

I dont trust Caps too much. Jets has made money for me more than Caps and Caps are missing something in the game at the moment.. But if you go with it I wish you BOL I wouldnt touch Tb @Boston. Boston has won 5 last games, and 5 last games against Tb. Both teams are playing with second goalies so there is a good chance to go over, so if you are not confident taking Boston, i´d take the over.. What so you think?

Just put in 2U play on NJ ML -125 opened -110 but couldn't get it before it moved. NJ is a top ranked team that has been in a funk where BUF has just been bad all year. I don't think BUF can sustain their recent good play and NJ is due for a turn around. They didn't play that badley in Winnepeg, they just lost it in the last few minutes on a fluke goal and then an empty netter. I also decided to layoff TB until they show us something.

Ottawa's goaltending is just on another level this year, I can't give that many props to the defense since it seems these Ottawa G-tenders are getting on Avg 40+ shots at them per game. Just godly goalie performances this year. (I took under, phil ML, and +1.5 Ottawa. So far so good).
(edit: Separate plays in 3 diff parlays don't be jealous I could still lose on all them I didn't Nosferatu this or anything)
