I like the Bluejackets here. This is a must win game for them as they have the Sharks coming to town tomorrow. Oilers have been having a tough time scoring goals. they also have a few injuries plaguing them. The home team is 9-1 between these two teams. I think Columbus takes this in OT 3-2 or 4-3. im not touching the over under here.

Bruins@Sabres Bruins -133

Im taking the Bruins here. The Sabres were outshot 44-18 last night and somehow won. I heard there was about 4-5 posts by the islanders. This Sabres team is just a bit out of sorts. Im not sure there feeling good about there win. All i know is so far nothing has changed with that Buffalo Defence. Boston is twice as physical as Buffalo and i Expect them to hit The Sabres hard.

Blackhawks@Predators Predators ML +110

Im giving this a shot. The predators have the checking to stay with the Hawks, they also have a hot Goalie in Rinne. Things have been coming easy for the hawks lately but i think Nashville can catch them off guard. The Preds ruined San Jose perfect start. Im looking for Nashville to give Chicago there first loss

I look for some goals in this match. TB hasnt been great defensively and they have been taking alot of penalties. Both these teams have a great offense. I thiink TB gets back into the goal column tonight as they have been off for the better part of 10 days now.

Very unlucky day. Shoulda won Columbus and LA. Both those teams almost put up 100 shots combined compared to 45 against. I have to say the only game I thinking picked on the wrong side was Nashville.

I like the leafs here, i think this will be a close entertaining battle with load of hits. Philly is starting to play better but ther just gettingby the teams they should beat. The think the Leafs may suprise some people here soon. They look like there coming ogether andthere finally getting some scoring from Kessle. This team is startingto lok good wth scoring fom all three lines. Reimer looks like he has a ton of confidence and hopefully it continues forward.

Hurricanes@Islanders Islanders -113

Im taking the Islanders here. If you look at there previous 4 losses

*Devils best team in the east
*Penguins 2nd best team on a roll with devils
*Rangers... will be atleast 3rd if not better.
*buffalo..... they outshot buffalo 43-16 shoulda won easy, but hit about 4-5 posts. Unlucky

Now I look for The Islanders to come out hard. I think the Hockey gods will help them out here, as Carolina has been giving 30+ shots a night. Carolina has been lucky of late. If the Islanders show the same effort as the other night, they will win this game.

Both these Goalies are playing well. Riemer has been outstanding while Bryzgalov has been steady! wouldnt be suprised to see a 2-1 3-2 win here.

Picks for Feb 12th 2013:


Rangers@Bruins Rangers +120

Im taking the Rangers tonight, I think theres some Value here. These two teams are very evenly matched. Rangers have a better scoring line, but Bruins have a better all around scoring unit. Both Lundvquist and Rask have been great. Im siding with the rangers here because i think the rangers will play desperate to win this game. I think there 6 points behind boston and in 8th spot. There finally starting to click. The rangers shut down Tampas high octane offense. NY played 2 close games against Boston earlier going 1-1, this is also when NYR hadnt found any chemistry and lundquist wasnt sharp. Now the opposite has happened. If theres a team to disrupt bosoton a bit, it will be NYR.

Sabres@Sens Under 5.5 Goals -120

I think Buffalo is starting to turn the corner here. Ryan Miller has been sensational his last 2 games and he looks to be heating up. Anderson for Ottawa has been the best in the league so far. Both these teams will be looking to get back in the win column.
Ottawa has 7 goals in its last 5 games since spezza went down. With a lack of scoring, Anderson knows he must stand on his head. I think this has Under on it.

Canadiens@Lightning Lightning ML -124

I like TB here. Montreal has been struggling and i think they were a bit overated to start this year. TB has been struggling a bit, but look who they faced..... NJ devils on a roll, NYR two times who starting to gel, philly with a bryzgalov on fire, of course Bryz was very unlucky last night. I think we get the point with TB here. Montreal put up a nothing effort vs toronto losing 6-0. May be a sign of things to come. Not saying 6-0 here, but 4-3 or 4-2 tampa wouldnt suprise me.

Taking a shot here, I think TB at home is a diffrent beast then on the road. I dont see MTL getting skunked again with TB's defense somewhat weak.

I see these two teams being about even. The flyers outshot a hot Leafs team 42-24 or somethin like that last night. It wasnt due to a lack of effort. I also watched the goals The Leafs scored, Nothing Bryzgalov could do. Montoya is in net for Winnipeg tonight, The guy had a shutout vs Ottawa but... Its Ottawa right now. Their having a hard time putting goals in the net right now. Im taking a chance here that Montoya will let up a few. Until hes proven i cant back the Jets.


Stars@Oilers Oilers ML -113

I really like the Oiles here. The stars came into EDM and won there last game 3-2. Remember EDM was minus Nugent Hopkins. That kid makes that #1 line go. Even without him they were close to winning last time. They had chances to score but barely missed. I have to think the Oilers will pumped to have a chance to take it to Dallas at home.I also guarentee they wernt very happy with the Way they played in Columbus being outshot 44-16.

Ducks@Blackhawks Ducks ML +140

LOL, why not. Ya theres not much wrong with the hawks BUT, this is there first game back home off a monster road trip. If you look at these 2 teams, there somewhat similar. Both with huge talent up forward, both with decent defense. With Victor FASTH in net for the Ducks(Top 5 goaltender in the league right now)Ill take a chance that the Ducks suprise a sleeping hawks team? I guess i can only hope here.

Well, Cant complain about today! damn near through my TV out the door when Rangers blew that 3-0 lead. Glad they hung on! then I was very happy TB scored 3 goals with 6 mins left to hit the over. Anahiem deserved there win all the way. EDM was very unlucky tonight as they had all the luck in the columbus game but none against Dallas. Things come full circle.Good job to the Guys who tailed!

With the Way anderson is playing you might think im crazy for taking this line. Im on this ine because i think Pittsburg will com out looking like a pissed off team that lost 2 straight poor performances to Devil. Considering Pitt lost 2-1 to Ottawa in Ottawa, There is alot for them to be motivated here.Tey may even make an example out of Ottawa. Dont get me wrong, Ottawa is still a solid club with awsome goaltending. I just see a bit of a letdown by Ottawa here. They won there first game of a back to back vs Buffalo but, I see this gam hard for them to win. Im thinking Anderson may be off just a little tonight. 4-1 Pitt

Does it seem weird the Blues are only +100 here? lost 6 in a row and have been blasted by Detroi 5-3 and 5-1 last 2 games and with a backup goalie without much experience.That would Merrit atleast +145 IMO. Jake Allen is a decent goalie, he just has nerves in his relief appearence vs Nashville. I think he will step up to the plate tonight. You know Stlouis is chompin at the chance to break this streak vs the Wings. I think Allen and howard will both have good games. Im taking Stlouis to win a close 2-1 3-2 game.

See the above commnents. Plus this makes no sense to me. Detroit 5-3 det 5-1 last 2 meetings. Stlouis is having a hard time stoppin alot. last 5 games went over or close to it. -124....... Ill try the under here.

Giving the Flames a shot here. Irving was great in his last game. Dallas hasnt been lighting it up of late. If you watched the game last night vs EDM... Dallas was lucky to have won. there first 2 goals bounce right off deffenders and in the net. Calgary will be pressing for a win tonight, frankly they deserve better. They have had a ton of effort just no finish. In a back to back ill give Calgary a shot to win this.
