Playoffs shoals be interesting for fantasy baseball. Most sites should have it for the first couple rounds at least.

The Pirates lost for the first time this season when leading a game after the 8th inning.

They are now 69-1 after blowing a 3-2 lead over the Reds and losing, 4-3.

Today's loss also clinches the 20th consecutive losing season for the Buccos!

That really sucks too. They had a great 3 quarters of a season and then completely fell apart, particularly offensively. I was pulling for Pittsburgh.

Guys I am debating if I am going to play any fantasy baseball today. Looking at the lines there are a few that are not out yet probably due to the fact of not knowing who is going to be playing for some of these non playoff bound teams. I ran my numbers and I have everything together but I am going to wait until later in the day and look at some lineups before I make my desicion.

Alright, I am going to play a fantasy baseball contest tonight. I am going with Jarod Parker on the mound for me. Parker has been hot with a 2-0 record and a 2.57 ERA his last 3 starts with a 1.05 WHIP. Parker has very good numbers against Texas this season. he is 2-0 with a 1.93 ERA in which he is averaging 7 innings per game against Texas with an average of 7 K's per game. Texas is hitting just .138 against him. Throw in the fact that Martin Perez is on the hill for Texas who Oakland pounded just a few days ago, Ill take Parker to have a big night and lets hope the A's get him some run support.

I was going to pick Garcia (Stl) vs Reds, But I have been not picking pitchers that well the last month or so. I usually do good picking batters.

It has been a nice run but I am going to call it quits now for fantasy baseball. It is just getting too unpredictable right now with all the teams that don't seem to care with just two games left.

Thanks for everyone who got involved with the daily conversations on all the different pitchers and hitters. Hope we can do this again next year for baseball. I think we all learned a bit this year which will help us next season.

Allin1, thanks for starting this thread! This was a blast talking daily fantasy baseball.

I am going to start a thread later this week to start looking at daily fantasy football contests for this week and going forward his season. Once The end of the month comes then Ill have a fantasy basketball thread going for NBA.

Again thanks guys. Good Luck if you continue to play the daily fantasy baseball and hope you all will participate in the NFL and NBA threads I am going to start for daily fantasy sports.

Are you guys that are playing daily today, sticking with players in the games that matter for certain teams? Oak/Texas, Cards/Reds, Yanks etc. Are teams like the Nats still playing for home field throughout and using the best pitchers?
