I don't like when pitchers overextend themselves going for shutouts, hopefully 120 won't mess up the good roll he is on.

It's just a Cut and Paste from the box scores at ESPN dot com.

Nolan Arenado set to rejoin Rockies' roster Thursday
Rockies third baseman Nolan Arenado, who has been out since late May with a broken finger, is set to come off the disabled list Thursday against the Dodgers, according to The Denver Post. Arenado has hit .333 (6 for 18) with two doubles and three RBI in the first four games of a rehab assignment with Triple-A Colorado Springs.

The Reds traded right-hander Jair Jurrjens to the Rockies for minor league first baseman Harold Riggins.

Jurrjens signed a minor league contract with Cincinnati in May, and was 2-3 with a 4.46 ERA at Triple-A Louisville.

Riggins was playing at Double-A Tulsa.

The Rockies have used 12 starting pitchers this season, the most in the majors, and have the worst team ERA, 4.99.

Wow! If this team had even decent starting pitching, they would be very dangerous in my opinion...

Jurrjens is making his first start tonight for the Rocks against Kershaw and the Dodgers.

Jurrjens was good for a while with the Braves and then he got hurt and has been terrible ever since

Cubs get 2012 first-round pick Addison Russell, 2013 first-round pick Billy McKinney, pitcher Dan Straily and a player to be named later.

With the trade, the Cubs' farm system got even better. It now boasts six of the top 75 position player prospects in baseball, according to Law's preseason rankings: Russell (No. 3), Baez (No. 7), outfielder Kris Bryant (No. 15), outfielder Jorge Soler (No. 26), outfielder Albert Almora (No. 28) and second baseman Arismendy Alcantara (No. 71).

Smart trade for both team IMO.

A's make the run this year & Cubs rebuild for future.

                                        I agree.

Barring any major injuries, Oakland has to be one of the favorites to win it all this year now...

Tsuyoshi Wada is making his first major league start tonight for the Cubs.

He underwent ligament-reconstructive surgery in 2012.

He will face David Holmberg, who also is making his first start for the Reds.
