I would like to see him post his picks once again, I just think that someone needs to step up here as a moderator and just try to work it out with him. I just think he is going to be missed.

1. Click the user's name at top left of his post.

2. Click "View Public Profile" in the drop down menu as indicated in the attached graphic.

3. Once in that user's profile, click "Add <user> to Your Ignore List".

4. Follow the instructions on the subsequent "Buddy / Ignore Lists" interface.

5. Posts from users on your ignore list should then be hidden.

pags we need you during the bowl season this year then you can consider going elsewhere or you can start your own site and do it for free under something like blogger.com or something like that, it don't cost you a dime and you can post your picks and just put the link up for it so you don't have to deal with terrible people that sometimes comes in here and messes things up for everyone else. I would advise you to do that just post your picks with a thread to your blog that is what I would if I was you on this matter.

to make things clear, I'm just not posting my plays, that's all I've stated...SBR has completely overreacted (as expected) by taking away my private message privelages...now why would they do that if they didn't care if I "went away"...I'm not starting my own site, I'm just not happy with the way threads have been policed (especially mine)...it sucks that SBR is showing it's true colors by not even informing me about taking away private messaging...seems like they have sent a mixed signal here, which wouldn't be the first time...

First of all, why is anyone bashing pags here? Are you trying to kiss SBRs ass? or Have you been waiting to take a shot at pags for a long time cause you will never be as good of a capper as he is, or have the admiration and respect that he receives? Which one.

pags is probably the nicest guy in the gambling forum world, he never bashes anyone, never starts fights, responses to everyones questions in his threads, and puts a lot of time and thought into writeups. I can't believe the abuse he is taking here by these clowns.

His thread on 10/27 had 5,276 views, so anyone who says losing pags won't hurt this site is a complete moron. In the history of SBRFORUM there has only been five other threads that acheived more views.

pags could of posted his plays at any of other forums, but he chose SBR, so I think it's safe to say that SBR is extremely ungrateful for all that pags has done here. pags has made SBR tons of money from newcomers even vets who click the banners on the top of the screen. Did Pags ask for money? although if any one poster deserved it, it would be him. NO All he asked for was for the mods who all get paid to police the damn forum better. Honestly was that too much to ask? Pags thread was bashed for along time before a mod ever touched it
And I honestly believe one of the mods here saw the bashing and let it slide cause it was kept on there for an extremely long time.



SBR is not as successful as other major forums EOG,theRX,Covers etc. IMO they never will be cause the people in charge are greedy boneheads. SBR makes plenty of money and how many contests do they have going on now? ONE. All the other major sites have tons of contests. Beat the Prick is great and all but it's only one contest and considering the money they are making from the banners on top it's nothing to them. They can do a lot more but refuse too. They could of done a lot more with this pags situation too, but again refused too.


This place gets pretty dead sometimes and there are only five or six people in the college football thread who post plays weekly. Other forums have four pages of people posting picks every week.

I mention this cause SBR needs pags more than pags needs SBR. The traffic that pags brought to this site is going to be gone soon and this forum will go back to being basically dead.

If Pags chooses to post his plays on another site he'll be helping out another site and all because SBR has too much pride to just admit their mistakes and promise to ban and/or put anyone who bashes pags on post review.
It's also pretty obvious that some people who work for SBR have a hard on for him which sucks. Instead of saying thanks for all the money you made us, and thanks for making this forum a lot more popular he gets talked down to by them.

Having freedom of speech, however, is NOT having the freedom from being ridiculed.

When the jerks come in, it is up to the "masses" to drown out the voices of the idiots and losers.

The police (i.e. moderators) should only get involved if more serious stuff is taking place.

If someone comes into a thread and says your picks are crap, or you got no business making picks, this needs to be drowned out by Pags supporters, not moderated out by the "police".

I think the only way that happens is to have members pm all the moderators about this issue and show that we want them to work this out. Then they will get the message that pushing a good member away is not a very good thing. First I would pm Justin if I were you pags and get an explanation out of him since he was one of the ones that is on your side.

Pags seems to be very liked and respected by everyone so I hope SBR addresses his concerns behind closed doors not because he is Pags but because his complaint is legit...

So I don't think any extra attention should be devoted to his threads, but instead to the problem posters as a whole and how to identify/deal with them.

If more people would start using the report post feature, maybe SBR could setup some sort of system where if you get [x] amount of complaints against you, a moderator will be able to issue an appropriate punishment. And if one report post is issued, the mod could then look up the post right away and move it if necessary.

We need to take care of our community, but take care of it as a whole and come up with better methods universally, not just on a case by case basis.

The report post feature DOES NOTHING. The mods share with select members who report posts and turn it into a big joke. Half the time you get negative feedback from the mods about reporting posts.
