I think a shot of humility is possibly going to be a good thing for you in the long run. The hardest part is going to be, making small reasonable size bets for your bankroll when you're used to gambling big. When you're betting $500 a unit, and drop down to $10/unit a win doesn't feel like you won $10, but that you lost $490.

You'll be alright. Buy some books, take your lumps, and start over.

You seem to hit a high number of plays but get buried by one guy you're overweight on (Rumble (no pun intended), Wonderboy & Papazian come to mind).

I owe a lot of scratch with no more than a couple grand expected, and even that money won't be in the mail in time to pay off the books.

There are no people w/ money in my life I can turn to for borrowing. Everyone I know is broke, or close to it. Sucks.
