Kat Williams is pretty funny. I prefer the more cynical comedians with social criticism like Bill Hicks, Doug Stanhope and George Carlin. Not that cynicism is a particular good character trait, they just have some very valid and interesting points. Also it's not slapstick lowbrow humor

I think Bill Hicks was a funny guy and agree with the things he says in his stand-up, but he doesn't make me laugh.

But he looks good. I am a bit curious about his silence this time around. Last time he did that with Brian Stann he had a great performance! I actually kinda like Bisping, but Sonnen is clearly the favourite to win. Also Sonnen vs Anderson 2 would be great to see.

That was a great show. I was in LA and got a front table seat to a Louis CK gig right before it opened, most of the entire cast performed along with a few other guys, Fred Armisen (in character as Saddam Hussein), Jerry Minor, Laura Kightlinger. Great night.

Improv's good certain nights, pretty much every Wednesday night.

Comedy Store is the best hang. Good most nights.

Icehouse is great when Deathsquad is there.

I usually go to the UCB theatre. I can't remember the place this Louis CK show was at though, it was a small club, mostly red interior from what I remember. Right next door was an art gallery, and across the street was a kickass bakery. I don't think it had a 'comedy' type name. Was a great intimate vibe though. Any idea what that place is called?

I'm not sure. So many little spots like that here. If you'd remember what street it was on, or what part of town, I'd probably be able to tell you.

I'm wearing my UCB hoodie as I type this lol my friends do shows there-- I was going to, too, but I dove into stand-up. I plan on getting back into sketch and improv soon.

I'm often at the Comedy Store or hangin' by UCB.
