12.368 units on Overeem by TKO/KO or DQ at +175 to win 21.644 units.

              Great price.

Overeem ITD is -120 at 5Dimes. If he finishes Brock, I think it's much, much more likely that he finishes him by tagging him on the chin > GnP than by subbing him with a guillotine (although he does have a mean one).

If you bet Lesnar KO and submission prop at unibet, you will get a combined odds of 2.78. Why didnt you do that instead of bying lesnar inside distance @ 2.61? restrictions?

Restrictions and Lesnar inside distance came out day before and took it straight away. Lesnar straight up probably isnt going to get better than +150 so anything better than that (+175 and +161) is fine by me as the chances of him winning by decision are next to zero IMO! Also, not a great idea to play Overeem by TKO/KO, Lesnar by TKO/KO and Lesnar by Submission all on same website...sure way to getting limited to single figures!

Wow nice line on Pearson. He should easily out box and out footwork Assuncao.

Yeah, Assuncao is a pretty big FW but as long as Pearson pushes forward and pressures constantly I don't think he'll be able to deal with the pace that Ross sets. The Barboza fight showed that Pearson is legit, he perhaps even deserved that fight. Assuncao kind of breezed through tht Yagin fight, hardly anything happened in the first half so he was able to gradually get in to the fight - Pearson will be the complete opposite and pressure from the start.

Well no, $2 would be about 0.13 units. Bet limits on eurobooks such as paddypower mean that that is only option some times

Cheers kind Sir! I wouldnt play Pearson at worse than -200 personally though. After all, this will be his first fight at FW, and Barboza has a decent all round game as well as being a big FW.

                                                                  Hello again;

Not long to go now until my fight with Junior Assuncao at UFC 141 on December 30th. Things went up a notch in the later stages of the camp - I’ve been doing some brutal sparring, we’ve had a couple of Swedish guys over from Alex Gustaffson’s gym, they are some real good stand-up guys who have been helping me a lot.

Plus I’ve been sparring the guys here at Alliance as usual, only we really picked up the pace for the last few days. We’ve been doing a lot of technical work with Jason Lambert and Manny Rodriguez on cage-work and wrestling drills, getting back to your feet. I have been working a lot with Andre Galvao - his level of jiu jitsu is insane and we have one of his black belts down at the gym full time as well. I’ve only been working with him a short time but the level of detail is helping massively. I have to give them all big props.

Dominick Cruz is injured right now so he has been cornering me for every sparring round, every rolling round, every wrestling round. Having someone like him to be a mentor, along with coaches like Del Piero, is such an inspiration. He is a world champion, 100 hundred miles an hour at all times but he also demands perfection. You have to do everything as hard and as fast as you can but it has to be perfect as well.

All the team at Alliance are going to be there for the fight. I love that about Alliance - if one of us is fighting, everyone flies out to be there. Alex Gustaffson is fighting on the same card and all the team is gonna be with us the whole time, through the weight cut and everything. That makes a huge difference when you are preparing for a fight.

Actually since arriving at Alliance I have felt like its a home away from home. Everyone has been brilliant from day one and I think we gel together really nicely. I feel like I have everything under one roof - family, a team who is behind me one hundred per cent. I think I bring something different as well, something the Alliance team finds useful. I have a good boxing and Muay Thai background so I can help people out and I am learning a hell of a lot from them.

I am getting better every day - training with world champions and world-ranked fighters every day. Whether its wrestling, BJJ, Muay Thai - I’ve got the elite training me every day.

I like to interact with fans as much as I can via Twitter, so I paid close attention to the ‘rape joke’ situation that got Miguel Torres fired from the UFC. There have been a lot of people arguing for and against the firing, it has been a very emotive subject. Some think Torres should have been protected by freedom of speech while others think the opposite.

My view is that there are things you can say and things that are stepping over the line. I would say that joking about rape is stepping over the line. And the situation we are in, the sport going closer to mainstream and being on FOX, we are representing the sport and we have to respect that. We have a responsibility as professionals to conduct ourselves well both inside and outside the cage. A lot of people look up to professional athletes, especially young people.

On the other hand, we are still regular people and while the sport is getting bigger, we don’t have teams of advisers and PR people like the NFL players do. We are normal people in the midst of the mainstream media, which is great in one sense but at the same time none of us really know how to handle the mainstream media yet. Its a new world and the sport is evolving so quickly. Personally, I think as a professional I am required to handle myself professionally and I like to mess around and have fun but there is a fine line.

Yes its harsh he lost his spot in the UFC but I can totally understand where Dana and the guys have come from.

In other news, it was announced recently that Dominick Cruz will be the next coach on The Ultimate Fighter, opposite Urijah Faber. They are going to fight at the end of the season, which is going to air on FOX. Its a huge opportunity and right now Urijah is the biggest fight for him in the division, because he has totally cleaned it out. I know Dominick will be fully prepared, his work ethic is insane and I know Urijah will be in top shape. So you are going to see the best of the best put on a show that night.

I love watching Dominick fight because I think his style is amazing, his tempo and his work-rate are just something else. His last fight with Mighty Mouse was non-stop, I couldn’t take my eyes off it. I’ve heard some people accuse Dominick of being ‘boring’ because he isn’t hitting these big one-shot knockouts - I think that’s a little bit silly.

If you know anything about fighting and fighters you can see right away that Dominick is an exciting fighter, very difficult for opponents to handle, and his next fight will really showcase that. Not only that, he is going to be on FOX for 12 weeks prior to the bout - people will really get to know him and what he demands from his fighters.

That’s all for now - until part three, Train Hard, Fight Easy

                                                                  Ross

Having a full camp with Alliance is going to be very beneficial for Ross, especially being in USA and being able to deal with the weight-cut there from the start without having to worry about travelling and jet-lag etc.. Working with Galvao on his BJJ could be crucial going in to a fight with a guy like Assuncao. And having Cruz as your mentor is only going to help! All the signs point towards a Pearson win for me!

Will probably have Diaz and Hettes in some parlays or may hedge with both straight-up, depending on how the pre-lims go. Also have got a further 13.635 units on Cerrone/Diaz going the distance at +110, but intend to arb out with Not Distance at +120 or better.
