What's everyone's thoughts on this fight and the wonderboy woodley rematch? I'm hyped for this card especially with the overeem hunt fight.

Ferguson is an awkward striker and I think he can give khabib trouble. Ferguson good on ground too but dos anjos was a 3rd degree JJ and he got ragdolled. I know that was almost 3 years ago and Ferguson is way better especially rn. I just don't know what way to lean on this fight.

Wonderboy is -135, woodley +105. I think you take wonderboy in this. He was so hesitant first fight with his kicks and initiating striking. Idk if they were nerves or what but I feel he comes out a lot more persistent in this fight. Still can't believe he got out of that guillotine.

I think the line for Woodley/WB is about right so I'll look to play props instead of either ML.

Have a small bet on Ferguson (+150) but I'll look to live bet him after round 1. He's lost the first round in most of his recent fights and Khabib's takedowns are almost impossible to stop early. I see Khabib winning the early rounds and Ferguson rallying to get a late finish or split decision win in a Fight of the Year candidate.

What do you cap the Overeem/Hunt fight at? Like where do you think line will open?

we cant agree on this topic hugo haha, for some reason i really like tyron woodley he seems like a genuine real dude, people take this for being annoying or pulling the race card to much but from his point of view i see everything hes saying, check the comments on that youtube video its pretty disgraceful .... He actually has gotten 0 push and has some valid points, imo he won that fight and he wanted to move onto the next opponent and give wonderboy a rematch after he won a fight seperate, hes a fighter and i highly doubt hes ducking or scared of anybody especially when he was the one doing all the damage in the last fight... perception isnt always reality imo , watch the lunch scrum between the two he seems much bettr in that video, this one he just seems really irritated , but everybody has their own cup of coffee and no person can be liked by all but i think he gets a ton more hate then necessary and now hes just rolling with being the bad guy almost to get some light and more money to feed his family, guy came from the ghetto and fought through a ton of adversity i gotta give him credit end of the day

Fair enough. He just came off as really annoying and entitled to me here. I'll check out the lunch scrum. Maybe Woodley was just having a bad day.

On the other hand, maybe Woodley is purposely taking a heel turn to sell more PPVs by playing the bad guy to Thompson's good guy. Woodley is a lot of things, but he's definitely not dumb.

This is more to my thinking , he wants to sell ppvs and sees an opportunity .. you want to make people either love or hate you to sell ppvs you don't wanna be in the middle.. Interesting to see that he knew he was fighting wonderboy for some time actually he was promoting other fights just so people would be pissed and want the wonderboy fight more , very intelligent business move , people want what they think they cannot have

Welcome Mack! I slightly lean Shevchenko based on diversity of striking technique and more proven cardio. Pena has pretty decent wrestling and top control though so I can see this going either way. What do you think?

                                  Thanks for the response.

                                  I lean Valentina as well.

Valentina should be able to keep the distance and stay on the outside. Also use her crisp boxing and and kicks all night long. Her judo and clinching game is though too. I can see Pena getting flustered quickly if she's not able to get it to the mat. That could cause her to try to stand and trade with Valentina which is a death wish. Valentina just so Technical on the feet man I just see her winning an intelligent fight most likely a UD.

Really? Maybe wrestling to a 29-28? I don't really see it. What do you think odds open?

yes i think hell use his wrestling and surprise people with his striking here. I think gegard is a top notch fighter but not top 3 material imo hes overhype at times, hes fought 2 top contenders in the UFC basically in machida and jacare and lost both times .. hes fought uriah hall who i dont think is that good, a washed up vitor belfort and dan henderson in the past 2 years , basically his best win in the UFC so far has been Thales Leites who is actually a lot better then people think but Chris Weidman is on another level, hes been on a bad string lately but a guy like that i think itll only make him better, Rockhold clearly beat him but i think rockhold is the #1 185er on the planet and Weidman for me is #2 , he was going to win that yoel romero fight imo but made one small mistake and got caught after coming off a major neck surgery, he comes in healthy i see him beating anybody at 185 other then luke rockhold and i still think he beats him 3-4 times outta 10.. regardless should be a solid fight mousasi is coming in with a lot of momentum here if he wins this then he would be in my top 3 185ers ( 1. rockhold 2. weidman 3. jacare ) and any of those guys could beat anybody or eachother on a given night then id say mousasi and yoel romero round out 4-5 .. funny how the champion isnt even top 5 imo haha

Heavyweight is best to move around imo because theres so many different body types and looks at heavyweight its good to get a feel of a bunch of different fighters at camps all over, I dont even know if glendale has 1 heavyweight there tbh... training with jake ellenberger and have a shitty coach scream uncontrollably in the corner is literally just halting his talent and ability, it almost looked like he went down in his skill at this point maybe this camp movement can ignite a fire under his ass , the black beast has huge power but his skills are really limited at this point and any fighter with a high fight iq and good movement can beat him, browne at 70%+ of his potential beats him everytime for me , plus he has a great chin from what weve seen so even if lewis does break in between the distance he should be able to take some shots, i cant really see lewis outpointing him to a decision, i think brownes distance, movement and kicks should pull out the W here for him
