I like Saunders at those odds. Cote's ground game is turrrrrrible and Ben should be able to grab onto him pretty easily. Either sub or ground out a decision.

That's actually a pretty good fight.. Patrick Cote has the better chin and could possibly knock out Ben Sanders.. Tough call.. Flip a coin.. Slightly leaning Patrick Cote myself just because of his toughness and experience fighting the top guys over the years..
Odds are about even right now on this fight and I'd say that's spot on..Last edited by JIBBBY; 01-05-16, 06:49 PM.Comment -

#41^ Foot work is a martial art in itself IMO. Well a defensive art anyways...
What's not mentioned is it can also frustrate opponents into making them become overly aggressive and open to counter strikes..... Just ask Muhammad Ali as he was a master at it..... I think D Cruz got some of his moves from ALi if you ask me.. Check..

#42Very nice, but i agree. The footwork is defensive, but if you master it, it may create openings that you can take advantage of. After a while it may cause frustration and potentially force your opponent to take bigger risk and fight different. Cruz doesnt really take advantage he just cruzes. Fight going the distance is a lot better bet than betting one of them. Judges + to little data no cruz atm. But even Barao who dillashaw outclassed lastet to round 4, and Dominick most likely are good enough and elusive enough to jump around the cage for 25 minutes though dillashaw wins.Comment -

#45Footwork is great and dandy but I prefer the fighters that walk you down and look to knock you out..
Mike Tyson comes to mind as one of the those fighters that came forward and looked to knock you out always.. Evil intent to knock your head off..
He didn't need to use footwork as he used quick side to side upper body movement to avoid the long jabs against the taller fighters when coming in.. Once on the inside with a young Iron Mike it was game over..

#46All that footwork isnt gonna work on dillashaw, he's gonna get knocked the fuuuuuuuk out, killashaw also switches his stance and then he kicks his head off hahaha capping a fight by a persons ability to run his mouth, when he does that for a living, now thats funny....dillashaw matches everything cruz does, but with more power and better wrestling, you cant run from your back.... fighter iq isnt the same as iq, dillashaw like nate diaz has a low iq, but a high fighter iq, becareful of handicapping brains over skill sets...betting a guy that has 1 fight in the last 5 years, now thats what you call a gambler, even if Cruz was active the last 2 years, and not off a long layoff, he would still lose to dillashaw, this isnt a close fight, you've been warned. Cruz's style was good against those guys of his time, the game has evolved, Killashaw is the evolved version of Cruz's style, cruz is Saiyan to Killashaws Super Saiyan 3Last edited by JoshKnows46; 01-06-16, 05:30 PM.Comment -

#47Because some of you obviously don't Know the p4p top 4 guy in the world, after watching this, go watch the actual fights of both guys, notice that the guys Cruz beat are now at lower weight classes, notice the size diffrence, notice how dillashaw covers ground like nobodys bussiness, one of the best in the ufc at covering ground and cutting people off, when the cage is closed there will be no more talking, there will be no where to run and no where to hide, Cruz will have to shut his mouth or get his jaw broken, i repeat this is NOT A CLOSE FIGHT, review more, study more....stop going off memory, take this seriously, or lose your money now and in the long run. you can't go off memory and be successful at this.

#48^^ Josh you're dreaming with TJ winning this fight pal, D Cruz gonna tap dance and pepper up TJ til his brain is scrambled... Your only hope is D Cruz blows a knee out during the fight or receives a judging robbery.. I wouldn't rule out either unfortunately.....

#49Tell me the last time I was wrong?, I'll wait, there is no path to victory for Cruz. Faber can barely beat sanez, Johnson is down a weight class, stop living in the past, the sport is evolving while cruz was sitting on his ass, Johnson can move up and he would beat cruz. Cruz can beat contenders, he can't beat dillashaw, he will never be a champion again. No one puts the time I put into this, I'm telling you he is in way above his head. You don't have to be surprise about this when it happens, I'm handing you the money now.Comment -

#50IMO, TJ is at worst the equal of a PRIME Dominick Cruz. I have TJ as a better fighter in his division than Lawler, Weidman, Rockhold, and many others. I have him similar to where Jose Aldo was before the fight with Conor and where Conor was after that fightComment -

I just think the odds of Cote knocking out Ben aren't close to a toss up. If the fight goes the distance, it's not because Cote was able to dance and jab his way for 3 rounds. The moment Ben grabs a hold of him, I think the fight goes to the ground and Cote will be way out of his element.
It's either Cote KO/TKO in the first round or Saunders Sub or Decision.Comment -

In regards to this Dom/TJ match up - Watch the "UFC TONIGHT" show as it just aired today.. Dom breaks down his method of success.. He's interviewed on the show and really makes TJ look stupid for starters..
TJ will have the wrestling advantage and most times that's enough to win fights and I won't argue that .. Only problem with that is Dom moves too well on his feet and just doesn't get grapple focked...
Check the show out Josh.. You'll get a laugh if anything else with Dana White and the Dom interview.. Kenny Flor and DC are in rare funny character on this show.....Comment -

I agree.. I was thinking Cote by KO or Saunders by Submission myself or the fight ends ITD at -140.
No Cote KO or Saunders Submission props are out yet but the decision prop is out if ya like that at +325..
1411 Saunders wins by 3 round decision <input id="editx" name="M1_77" size="4"> +325

#56Here's a video of Sanders (three fights ago at BW), you'll notice how massive he is for that division and how strong he is. His Muay Thai striking really improved a lot before this fight and onwards. He's very active and practically lived in the clinch in this fight, but he's also a solid wrestler. I'll have to do some film study on Blanco but I think Sanders could be a nice dog play potentiallyComment -

#57Only negative for Luke is his standup striking outside of the clinch is a little rough and he did get hit some in that fight. His biggest strengths are definitely his cardio (even at BW), wrestling, and his clinch striking.Comment -

#58Been looking at this fight a while, I'm not sold on Luke's chin against tougher competition but Blanco couldn't finish Hooker or Ogle and hasn't been the same KO artist since making the big jump to the UFC. I think Luke's jump is a little less dramatic. Daniel Hooker was able to land quite a few shots on him in the clinchComment -

And ALL THAT was Lawler coming out without a jab or straight and just throwing bombs. Turns out he had lost the services of his boxing coach months before the fight. So that was the worst version of Lawler out there, and still made it close with Condit.Comment -

#70Duffy still has less then 1 percent chance of knocking out poirior, did he knock him out? Condit and lawler wasn't close, nailed the fight perfectly at condit -170, condit dominated him 4 out of 5 rounds, one punch in the 2nd doesn't take away what. Condit did the rest of the round.Cruz mouth must be swaying naive fuks like you to bet on him, makes no diffrence what the line does, I already bet on the winner, and I absolutely love the price I got him at -140. Even after the fights are over, you still don't have correct perception of how they went, you are fukin hopeless, you will never win money at this sport, ur just spinning your wheels and wasting your time, and now your wasting my time.Comment
