Speaking of psychedelics, I went really deep on shrooms recently thinking that I'd be fine, as I've gone incredibly deep on LSD with no ill effects. I completely lost my perception of time and reality, which was fine, until I got to the point where even if I focused, I couldn't form a coherent thought. If you've never done shrooms, most psychedelics (all that I know of), to some degree, feel as if you're dreaming while you're awake. This is because psilocybin and LSD activate the part of your brain responsible for dreaming. This is what causes "hallucinations". When people spoke to me, I could comprehend every individual word, but I could only really piece together a couple of words at a time. By the time someone finished a sentence, I had forgotten the beginning. Ended up feeling like I wanted to sleep (still tripping balls at this point), went to my friend's attic (which is his guest bedroom), and sat there in the dark. After a few seconds, I started to wonder if I had actually gotten there. It's a couple of flights of stairs, and I got there in what felt like three seconds, despite the fact that I thought I couldn't stand up because I couldn't feel my legs. I started to think that I was still downstairs on the couch with my friends, just hallucinating, then I realized that my pants were off. So, there's a part of me sitting there thinking "can they see my balls right now?", then I try to lay down, and all I can see are mouths all over the focking bed. At this point, I'm losing my ability to think clearly again. I tried to stick my fingers in one of them to convince myself it wasn't real but I could barely form a thought at that point, and it felt as if the mouth bit my finger. I couldn't think at all by now, I could only feel and see, and I was only feeling and seeing dread. It was the first time in my life that I had forgotten I was on drugs. Went through some dreadful anxiety for a while, even worried that I was a danger to myself, then I had a conversation with a buddy and I was okay. Once I had that conversation, I regained some of my ability to think clearly and cohesively, and I started to understand what was going on around me again. A few Simpsons eps later and I was golden.

Probably the most intense experience of my life, and I was only in that attic for half an hour or so I think. Can't even describe how awesome bird documentaries were.

You don't want be at a rave concert or around loud music on shrooms as you can lose your mind in a hurry, you wanna be chill'n with a sunset at the beach or moon light sky with a camp fire blazing in front of you with cool friends type settings...

I've done shrooms maybe 4 or 5 times in my life years ago, one of the better highs and it doesn't ruin your body or mind too much.. I don't touch anymore because they are hard to get... I just smoke a little weed and drink red wine at night these days.. I do it at down times only..

If you feel less wasted on shrooms than you do on weed, then you're taking much smaller doses than I do my friend. I find the two incomparable.

Psychedelics raise awareness. Some say they even raise IQ. I've taken psychedelics over a hundred times. Probably closer to two hundred times. My old ass has lost count. I've had nothing but positive life changing experiences. My guess is that MD is just getting started.

Usually these self proclaimed epiphanies you experience while tripping are just pipe dreams though... Ya sleep on it and then try and re-live those same thoughts of grandeur sober the next day and suddenly they don't seem so grand and brilliant after all.....

I've never shot up, never tried LSD, Heroin, etc.. or done anything really hard though.. I get brilliant and stupid at times off wine and weed, that's good enough for me... I hate being hooked on anything.. Been there done that.. I have responsibilities to attend to in life these days so I have to be responsible... That's just me...

Oh and MD - I smoke the California Dispensary top shelf Indo chronic out here legally.. Yes it can be stronger then your average cow patty picked shrooms.. I've taken shrooms and the proper heavy dosages in the past.. Went to a club shrooming and snuck out the back door, went to my car just staring at a stop light for an hour or two parked and loved it.. Red, Yellow, Green.. Mesmerized... You better watch those opiates. They incrementally creep up on you. After you go through your first serious withdrawal when you feel like death warmed over, (dehydrated with full body cramps, full body pain that will have your eyes watering, constant vomiting, weakness to the point where you can barely crawl) then you will understand.

I didn't care for it. It was way too intense. I enjoy other psychedelics because they allow you to have a fresh perspective as if you were born again. I also like the deep introspective thinking. I enjoy examining myself & asking myself what I like about myself, what I do not like about myself & how to go about changing aspects of my personality that I do not like. It is also useful to understand what is important in life (friends & family). Not what the system wants you to think is important (consumerism & materialism). Actually Plato's Allegory of the Cave & the modern version of it the Matrix trilogies are a metaphor for tripping & awakening to what the system we are all born into really is.

It's entirely possible to see your own flaws without psychedelic drugs, but what you learn when you take psychedelics is often something that you couldn't learn without them. The reason for this is because when you take psychedelics, you lose a lot of your mental blocks. You can often feel no shame, no fear, no sense of self-preservation, no sense of past, no sense of future, or any other number of things. It's this altered state of mind in which you can approach yourself (or anything else) from a different perspective. It's difficult to understand how profound an effect psychedelics can have on you, but take my word for it. It's a truly unique experience.

I knew a guy who "didn't" manage to smuggle an assault weapon into another country by just mailing it there. You'd be surprised how bad law enforcement is at almost everything.

And what happens when you just get ripped off? i would think that would be more common, when you deal with something illegal, you deal with sketch markets, people willing to sell /make such things, that have low moral compass and disregard for law. this is why all drugs should be legal, less crime, less addicts. proof is in countrys like portugal etc, quite interesting really.

I've been scammed more times by sportsbooks and the government than I have by drug dealers.
