if i was weidman i'd be pissed because even though he won people are going to say it was just anderson playing, he wanted anderson's real fight, and now anderson doesn't want a rematch weidman won this match but i bet to him it feels like a loss

Here is how Sherdog describes the final round.

Round 2
Silva keeps clowning at the start of round two, mocking Weidman with a fake wobble after the challenger lands a glancing blow. Weidman shoots after 40 seconds and Silva shuts it down quickly. Weidman whiffs on a head kick and dodges a Silva front kick. Weidman charges forward with a combination and Silva is still clowning, leaning backwards, when Weidman connects with a perfect left hook on the chin. Silva is out cold with his eyes glazed over when he hits the canvas, but Weidman tacks on a right and a left before ref Herb Dean can intervene. He’s done it! Weidman has actually done it. He has ended the reign of Anderson Silva. At 1:18 of round two, Chris Weidman is the new UFC middleweight champion.

I wish I could say I wasn't used to it, not as bad when jake shields verbally submitted against ellenberger but it was ruled as a TKO and I didn't win my 4+k on similar parlay because of an error.

I am not saying Silva told someone that he was going to just take a serious chance of getting knocked out but that his camp knew his head wasn't right.

This is one of the first time he spoke all english and said 2 or 3 times he lives in America now and thanked the audience that he does.

He made 6-800 K on this fight and a few million on endorsement contracts that pay him whatever.

"Chris is now the champ now" he said.

A truly bizarre fight. Normally you see the best go out like champions too.

okay now the reality of this fight. How could it possibly be fixed when a guys eyes are rolling in the back of his head u nitwits? The guy obviously got so tired of the hype like most fight fans that he had no respect for the fight because his peers actually thought he would lose. So he clowned around and Weidman really wasn't doing much. That is what happens when u feel disrespected and have a boat load of talent. The problem is that he has been getting hit lately in a few of his fights most likely because he is 38 years old. So what we got is the best fighter in the world get caught and turn a great night into a fiasco because really we didn't see who the best fighter was because of a guys ego.
