I did the exact same thing and for the exact same reason. Was so pissed at myself for not taking profit in 2017.
I sold about half of my holdings in the 35k range. The rest I'm hanging on to unless we get above 60k.

Smart Jake. Can't go wrong with that strategy.

I am confident we are only half way on this bull run, So i will put off profit taking for a bit.

I have been reading a lot of info and have to make a plan and stick to it. Otherwise I might be riding this rollercoaster indefinitely.

I do plan on holding some BTC and ETH for a long time.

I think things look good for the future but taking a few crumbs along the way...there's enough in reserve that I'm still thrilled when it keeps going up. Let's keep this train going fellas

Total crypto market cap is now at 1.391 Trillion. Bitcoin by itself makes up 885B of that and looks like a shoo in for 1T all on its own. Heavy action going on out there....

A couple of days ago, I made my first sell in a couple of years. Dumped the $5.1K of XRP that I had, made $1100 and re-bought back in with Polka Dot at around $21. Of course, XRP immediately goes up and DOT goes down. Looking better today. Got a tip from two sources that there are dark days ahead for XRP (not a new concept, of course) and that DOT should hit $100 in the future.... We'll see....
