thanks, fergie. BOL to you today too. i heard you on the Nats game - i mean, the bats have to wake up sometime, right? my one concern there is that there is a 10 mph wind to right-center. beyond that, have a solid under ump in Diaz and two teams that have been playing really low-scoring, tight games (i think that the injury to Phillips has hurt the Reds offense more than anyone would've expected, though part of this is due to visiting DC at a time when the Nats SPs are going really well). both Leake and Detwiler had solid first starts (Leake just made a couple of notable mistakes that the Cards took yard). also guessing that we'll have a couple of surprises in the lineups given that it's Sunday so guessing that this moves to 7'.
you in DC? i'm originally from Richmond. live in Cleveland now, but i know all about those muggy spring mornings near the Chesapeake. speaking of, was writing somewhere last night that i think that the two most pleasant surprises in MLB so far are the Nats and the O's (though hard to ignore the Dodgers).
