can someone tell me how to capture more than one quote in a reply (cuz i wanted to put both #1531 and #1540 together and say thanks for firing up the old audio-visual memory...you know i had actually forgotten that eye-gouge blocking manoeuvre...but was instantly treated to a "mind's eye" re-enactment of it thanks to you guys)...

you know, the schtick was "violent", i suppose--in a live-action-cartoon sort of way--but never for a minute was it ever mean-spirited...

another of my similarly "low brow" loves is "Rocky and Bullwinkle"...again, as enjoyable now as ever

fitguy, if you hit that snazzy little button in bottom right corner you will see it says multi quote...however they better be on the same page as i have yet to figure out how to multi quote when what i want on different pages (didnt used to be like this and im sure there a way just dont know it)..

nah...i was a gymnast, springboard-diver, and wrestler in my day...and still big on killing myself regularly with sets of squats/crunches/pushups/neck-bridges (no equipment except a mat...no muss, no fuss)...

...north of the neck there may be disabilities tho'

hey pac, i remember when i first responded to you was in reference to a q you asked LTA about what sort of "hourly wages" come from sport-betting...when week after joyless down-tinged week piles up...minimum wage (or even a less-expensive hobby...or even a "less uncomfortable wall to bang our head against") starts to look good in comparison......

in the end it IS the intellectual stimulation involved and the memory of/hope for those weeks that made/will again make it all worthwhile...avoiding the temptation to chase is key to surviving these periods of "shoveling shit" until the pony inevitably appears...

Fit, i wonder if we could get some info. on pitchers that started off lousy, but
have been lighting it up the last couple of months. I place alot of value on
current form and this also would be relevant for pitchers that started out "hot",
but are currently in poor form. Food for thought.

that's very do-able...could be handled with a short (eg. 9 innings) vs. a long (eg. 63 innings) moving average of SIERA...focusing on when short up-crosses the long (getting hot=starting to outperform LT-avg)/down-crosses (starting to under-perform LT-avg)...something we could have in place (along with the SIERA vs ERA-based ratios we developed a few weeks back) from day#1 for NEXT mlb season...
