Fair idea! Hate to see the D bet juice though. I read somewhere that the Sports Bet Prof's 3-game chase loss in the NBA (at -110) odds takes like 4 or 5 system wins to counteract. I wish I had the details of that.

I did, mrk77, but did not track. Because of Crusher's high juice, a fade is a great way to reduce risk of his 4-game chase. Plus I modify the chase amounts, so that I don't risk the whole stinking bankroll on a D bet like tonight. We lose, no sweat, we are still up 18 to 22 units depending on which chase system we are using (Fade System or Chase-til-you-drop).

Yes, he does reel off 4 and 5 game win streaks, but by reducing the chase from an all-out to a %age of loss, we have mitigated that possibility. Only 1 system loss for us, not bad. How many does he have, and with that juice he's laying? I can't imagine his followers are up much, and certainly not as much as us.

Hi fnorbert. Instead of doubling my bet on a loss or something, I bet to win the previous bet AND add 1 additional unit (if -odds) or risk 1 additional unit (if +odds). So by the time I get to a D bet I haven't quadrupled by bet. If you follow along in the spreadsheet you can see that if I lose 1 unit on an A bet I don't bet 2 units on B bet, etc. It just lowers the amount wagered. Cheers!

No problem! So, first half review:
* System 1: Simple 4-game chase (mirroring Crusher), but with modified risk. Thus, after a loss we risk only what we bet previous plus 1 unit. Has been very solid with only 1 4-game system loss. A $100 bettor is up $2500.
* System 2: Simple fade of each individual play with no chase. We have yet to broach +10 units on the year. However, because we almost always play a dog, the 44-52 record is in the positives.
* System 3: 4-game chase as described above PLUS we never "start over", so we keep chasing the previous bet even past the 4-games. Has been the best overall, as a $100 bettor is up nearly $2900.
We have won 4 in a row twice, and the longest losing streak for us is also 4 games (once).
Crusher has, conversely, lost 4 in a row twice and his longest win streak is 4 (once).
