Today I see only 2 that clear my filters. Looks as if Bob and I match up on 2.
Wash/SF = NO
TB/LAA = NO
If it were not the Cubs I would play that game as a YES.

#433I like Balt/Oak more also...Even though rollins is out...them big bats for Philly always scare me a bit and although they have been slumping lately you never know what game is going to be the breakout game...if there's one walk then ur money is riding on Ryan Howard same with a A-rod... Also the rotation for Philly hasn't been as dominant yet as we all thought (i.e Roy "their ace" giving up that homer in the 1st last night)just think there's better spots in the Oak game.Comment -

#439It's not that it necessarily fails but it's neutral on ball park, right/left, day/night grass/turf etc. Also 1st inning runs scored by the 2 teams is over 1 run. But I'll be pulling for you to cash this one!! BOLComment -

I can see a lot of players are postin in here right now. What are you criteria when picking a game..
You are looking at ...
Pitcher No - Yes
Batter (???)
Turf / Grass (???)
RH / LH (???)
Day / Night (???)
Team No - Yes (is this giving in % of games played?)
Streaks maybe?
I dont understand most of these, what you are looking for.. Let's say we are looking at Night games, are you then checking the pitchers 1. innings at night, or the hitters AVG 1. innings at night?
And what about RH / LH?
Also what is the most important thing to check up?
And finally, have you guys any records, I really want to see how effective this is when it is taking seriously like you do
EDIT: I think something that could make people even better to cap this is if you all wrote what thing you are looking at for picking a game.. And also the importance of the specific criteria and where you can find info.
This should not only help the other but also yourself cause you will ge the same kind of info from other successful cappers in this thread..

Sorry Bob and guys
I was planning on helping you with the stats for today again. However, I sat down and cracked open a few beers when I got home from work yesterday and started to work on my spreadsheet so I could post today's stats, but I called it quits after doing 2 or 3 pitchers. It ended up working too late at work and didn't have the energy or will to do it when I got home.
Once I get all of the starters initially entered then I should be able to post it pretty much daily since it will not require a lot of time. However, since I am still creating the spreadsheet it is taking me an hour or more to do a day's card.
Hopefully I will have it finished in a week or so...Comment -

#448So i need to know.. The games you're checking up here are not all the games he has played. We are only after the one where he has been the starter, right? If not, i am completely lost with the meaning of these stats..

BOL tonight.
Doubledime and me have about the same filters.. Yersterday for example we looked Obviously the pitchers, his shape of the moment ( last 3 games).
But After you can filter your plays with differents other stats : runs scored home/away, how the teams perform day/night, against right/left, division/non division, Opponent 1st Inning Runs per Game home/away
Pitcher batter Vs pitching stats is also important for me like yesterday Cliff LEE Vs lad here : http://espn.go.com/mlb/player/batvsp...5353/cliff-lee
Stats with yes and no are only when the pitcher start the game..
For find different stats you can go at teamrankings, espn, cover, mlb.com etc..
