Yes, and no one thought the Yankees would lose three in a row to Detroit, and..... This is what following systems does for you, takes all the guessing and "I don't think's..." right out of the equation. I live just outside of Philly, do you think I want to bet against the Phils, NO. But the system tells me to, so I will. Once again, good luck.

#1789JM MLB System
2011 Official season series record 2-0 (v1 and v2)
Unofficial series 1-0
Next plays
(5/6/2011) Tampa Bay @ Baltimore R/L (A) (5/7 (B) and 5/8 (C) if necessary)
Notes: I have not received an email from JM yet but according to his rules this qualifies as an official play. The rpi is just inside the limits.
TAM (.477) - BAL (.488) a difference of .011. This is one of those plays where he will send it out as official all the way through but if it loses on the (A) bet the rpi will drop below the JM level. He will keep sending it out as official hoping to score the win but if it loses he will disqualify it as a play. He has done this in the past. Play this one at your own risk.
P.S. I changed the color of the bet recommendation so it wouldn't clash with the red on a loss.
P.P.S. I will update when JM email comes in.

#1791JM made it official:
Go to the link below to see our upcoming system bet(s):
This page shows the bet(s) that you will need to place today. The
team on top is the team you need to bet for. The team on bottom is
the team they're playing against. The letter in bracket is the bet
type you'll need to place.
For example, if the page shows:
4/11 - Colorado [A]
Arizona
Then this means that on 4/11 you will need to place a bet on the
Colorado Rockies to beat the Arizona Diamondbacks. The amount you
should bet is the amount you've set on your Bet A. Remember to bet
on the +1.5 run line if the team you're betting for is the
underdog, and on the money line if the team you're betting for is
the favorite. Basically, if the +1.5 option is available for the
team you're betting on, then bet on the 1.5 run line. If the +1.5
run line is not available (it will show as -1.5 instead), then bet
on the money line. Note that if you bet on the +1.5 run line, then
you will win the bet even if your team loses the game by 1 run.
One more thing to keep in mind is that sometimes you may not
immediately see the game available for betting on the betting site.
Sometimes the game might be available but the run line isn't shown.
If this is the case, just wait and check back later during the day.
Good luck!

#1792Hopefully you guys won't mind, and Hagball has been doing a good job by starting to keep track of JM MLB plays on here, but what I want to do is actually track what exact money amounts I'm betting for each JM bet on this thread. I'm going to implement an aggressive labby money management system with just JM's system starting with a $5,000 bankroll which I amassed from NBA this season. My hope is to turn the $5,000 bankroll into a decent chunk of change by the end of the summer. Starting today I will keep track of each bet and what money amount I'm risking and winning (or losing). So here it goes....
Starting Bankroll: $5,000
JM MLB record: 2 - 0
1. Tampa Bay +1 1/2 -195 Risking 282 TO WIN 145Comment -

#1793Here is an idea about betting the JM series when given the +1.5 Runline. Just bet as given the +1 Runline. (Credit given to Porterkid69)
You can always use the +1 RL formula to reduce juice. It goes like this:
You just have to know how much to bet on the ML, then bet all the would be profits from that on the +1.5 line. To figure out how much to bet on the +1.5, just do this.
A game you want to bet,
Tampa Bay (-205) +1.5 Runline
Tampa Bay (+100) Moneyline
Take 100/205=.488
Add 1 = 1.488
Take 100 and divide by 1.488 =$67.20
Example:
Risk $67.20 at -205 +1.5 Runline to win $32
Risk $32 at Moneyline +100 to win $32.
If Tampa Bay lose by 1, you break even, just like the +1 line.
If they win, you win $64 (instead of $48 if you risk $100 on the +1.5 Runline (-205))
This is based on a $100 play, if you want to bet less divide by the number that fits after you get the bet total. (2 = $50 or 4 = $25)

#1795Not a problem at all man. I came into the MLB season pretty much saying to myself that I was going to follow about 5 - 6 systems and use the labby with each one of them, but I don't know I've always said to myself that if I started the JM MLB system with a decent bankroll that I would see what I could do with it. That's the thing to if you look at his web site, he goes into all this crap about making a million dollars just starting with $500, but lets be real here, that's just a bunch of crap considering the odds we are playing with his system. Last year I started his system with a 1,000 bankroll and it just didn't work chasing so hopefully with a bigger bankroll to start with I can do some damage.Comment -

Stevex, what will your base line be? 25 25 25 25? Will you continue to run this for the whole season? I am great at sticking to only system plays, but I suck at money management. Would love to follow you if you keep this up. I base my units on a 10k roll, so would probably just bet double since you are using a 5k roll correct?Comment -

I do this a lot with high favs too. Just rememer it's really most effective for A game. If you have to play a B, C, etc. if you get that push you still will have a loss on the series.Comment -

Hi Stevex, i'd be interested in seeing how things go with a labby line, any chance you could show us your labby line along with the bets you make, so we can see what stage of the line your at, i'm always interested in seeing how people manage labby lines as there are many variations people can use.
Cheers

#1809gotta like a system (wallco's) that consistently churns out +money wins. got atlanta @ +140 this evening. passed on detroit b/c i didn't like the line. hopefully they be a nice dog at some point this weekend and i'll jump aboard. thanks, wallco.
on another note. i'm playing at the greek, and they had philly -1.5 @ +145, while the braves -1.5 was @ +135. thought that kinda told the story about what they expected tonight. did anyone notice that? i really wanted to hit that reverse r/l on the braves, but i held off. too bad for me.
i'm up 22% using this system (admittedly, i'm playing too high a % of my roll, and hit 2 reverse r/l's). this kicks ass.Comment -

#1811Sorry GG didn't see your post till this morning. Yeah you're right. I bet it moneyline. This year I'm playing the Morrison bets differently because of that high juice issue. Last year there was a series bet on the Chi. Cubs vs the Pirates. On all three bets CHC was over a -200 fav. It went to a (C) bet and if you were betting it properly you would have had $2,500 out just to win a stinking $100. No thanks none of that for me this year.Comment -

#1820I agree with clam...this question gets asked everyday. Maxi_ev has been on a long time so he also sees this everyday...and it starts to wear on the regulars. Some of the responsibility is on the questioner...why ask the obvious question. If they have read previous post and the rules listed on each post by wallco, then it is obvious that it will be made official when the lines are confirmed. Unfortunately there is not a set time for that but hey, that is part of the system. Not blaming anybody, just trying to provide insight to the response that was given.Comment
