I agree in part and disagree in part. Jurrjens has an FIP of 3.08 (top 20), xFIP of 3.75 (top70) & tERA of 3.88 (top 70), which are really solid dips. In addition, his GB/FB is 1.25 (ok), but a HR/FB of 4% which shows he limits the long ball. If you compare these to Arroyo, well, there is no comparison because Arroyo has been atrocious (ranked around top 200 mlb). Jurrjens has a career ERA over 5 against the reds but held them to 1 run over 8 innings (in atl) earlier in the year. There is no doubt we have a huge pitching disparity in favor of atl.
However, you are correct that jurrjens BABIP is very low at .267 & his LOB% high over 80%, which indicates a regression to league averages of .300 & 70% might be coming. With that said, he has a K/BB rate over 2.5 & WHIP of 1.1, so he might just have the control and strikeout ability to continue his success this year. Its not like he is a flash in the pan either, as he has enjoyed mlb success for 4 years now.
Personally, I think you have to go braves ml or no play. Good luck in whatever you choose.
