Saturday 7/9:

(3u) over giants 6.5 (A4-Welke)

(2u) brewers -110_the reds are 0-3 at milw the last 3 seasons when cueto is on the mound. he has given up 13er in 14ip over those 3 games. i will take one of the best home teams in baseball with this historical trend on my side. good chance braun is back tomorrow as hes progressing well.

(1u) yankees -120_will take the yankees at a nice price in a day game (24-5 YTD).

I've been eyeing that game.. waiting on that game since line opened at 6.5 -123/+111..

Dex.. have you looked at SD/LAD game tomorrow ? Harang has been hot as of late and Padres are 20-12 in day games.. i'm not sure which way the line will move..

Thought about going big on this game until i saw the ump stats.. Campos will be behind the plate and he is 6-1 this year on home favorites..

I am debating if I should take 6.5 at plus now or wait and hope line moves to 7, but I dont think it will.

when a pitcher hasnt had his last 3 starts within the last 30 days, i pretty much cross that team out. his whip in the last 3 is a 1.34 which is not very good. but, the padres do have a huge bullpen edge. would be a gutsy big play....

trust me, with the 2 pitchers on the mound last night (porcello/davies) and 2 bad bullpens, the total was right around where i suspected it to be. it actually would have been an A2 over if davies last 3 starts were within the last 30 days.

i dont buy into that theory that the books want people to bet a certain side - im a firm believer that they simply want equal action.

here is a breakdown of hoye's numbers on the under this year:

7.5 or less: 4-0
8 or greater: 6-5

its not as if hoye is 20% or something bad with totals >7.5, but he obviously seems to be gold on low totals. any other of the 7 pitchers you noticed this with?
