Just noticed this thread...
I like this thinking...
Playing on Away teams off a one run loss vs. the same team that they just lost to, is a tried and true system over the years...
This will be interesting to see how this all plays out this year...
Keep up the good work!!

The system that I was referring to...yes. So it is in play in game 2 and beyond. But Snowball is tracking all instances... I like it!! I am very interested in seeing how this pans out!!

Glad to see some are paying attention. I'm playing every team after a one-run loss now, because it's working. Just over 50% of the plays are dogs, so I stopped tracking that..along with 1st 5 inn. I don't know how to run an excel spreadsheet, this is on pad and pencil.. I am building a w/l, h/a rec by each team. Although there are some trends there, for example Mariners are 0-3 on the road off a one-run loss, while Tigers are 3-0 on the same, so are Royals 3-0, etc..Rays are 2-0 at home after a one-run loss.. we need more games to make any judgement calls so it may take another month or so before I post all the recs by team.
Yesterday's Wins:
Orioles (away) over Red Sox
Diamondbacks (home) over Phillies
Nationals (home) over Dodgers
Yesterday's Losses:
Mariners (away) @ White Sox
System Record: 41-27
Today's Plays (Pinnacle odds):
7:10Padres (no rec.) @ Marlins +145.
7:10 Red Sox (1-0 road)@ Blue Jays -139 7:10 Dodgers (1-0 road) @ Mets -131
8:10 Braves (1-0 road) @ Cardinals +103
8:10 Mariners (0-3 road) @ Royals -167

I didn't take Blue Jays or Braves. I took Royals but +1.5, and Yanks.
Using this more as a starting point now.

Stats are building but it will take a while longer to make them worth posting and considering before betting. Starting to include the rec per team at home or away as below. In a few more weeks I will stop posting every one as a "play" and start over with plays that are above 50/50:
Won: Giants (2-0 at home)
Lost: Indians (0-2 at home)
Overall w/l: 47-40
Today:
Red Sox away (1-1)
Rays home (2-0)
Cardinals home (2-0)

Pauly, it's an easy system that is cash positive, as at least 50% of the plays are dogs and it's hitting
54-44. I'm in the process of refining it on a per-team, away/home basis, but need more data.
The records you see are "in the system" records only. For example, above you see Cubs at 2-1.
What this means is that the Cubs are 2-1 when playing at home coming off a one-run loss.
The 3-0 Tigers above means that the Tigers are 3-0 when on the road coming off a one-run loss.

- will post team recs and start selecting games based on performace by Memorial Day, starting the record over at 0-0 because this is where the system is tested, on its data. At that point, I will only post plays where in the scenario teams are OVER .500. While still building the stats, giving them a chance to get over .500
Today:
Nationals home 1-0
Marlins home 0-1

ok last night's Tigers@Indians was ppd. taking Tigers again, but in tracking, log both.
Guys I'm going to start a new thread for my plays and incorporate this data into my picks on my own, keeping track of it. Looks like it's established at this point after 111 games in the system that blind, this system runs about 55%.
