Im not betting against Lee neccessarily but betting the spot . The yanks are a dog at home and the books are getting more action on the road favored rangers. Perfect spot to take the yanks.

From a brief scan, looks like LB is going NYY & likes them putting up some runs...I guess it would be too easy to go Lee & the Rangers. I was digging around early looking into this matchup and I do believe Lee is definitely hitable.

Lee was 2-0 with a 3.09 ERA in three starts against New York this season giving up nine runs and 18 hits in 23.1 innings pitched. Granderson (12-42), Jeter (15-36), Teixeira (10-30), Swisher (8-25), A-Rod (6-22), Berkman (3-8), and Gardner (3-8) all have good numbers against Lee. The Yankees are 34-27 against southpaws hitting .260 against them as a team. They went Over the total in 33 of those 61 games. The Yankees score an average of 5.8 runs at home and they are hitting .287 in these playoffs. The Rangers bullpen is 13-6 with a 3.33 ERA on the road where they've blown six saves.

Pettitte is clutch in the post-season with 19 victories in the playoffs. But he is just 1-1 with a 6.91 ERA in his last three outings as he continues to work back from his injury. The lefty held down the Twins for seven innings after giving up two runs and five hits. Pettitte faced Texas back in April and picked up a 5-2 victory in which he gave up two runs and four hits in eight innings of work. He's 10-7 with a 4.20 ERA in 20 career starts against the Rangers. Michael Young (9-31), Vlad Guerrero (9-26), Bengie Molina (6-20), David Murphy (4-11), Josh Hamilton (3-10), Jeff Francoeur (5-8), Elvis Andrus (2-5), Matt Treanor (1-3), and Jorge Cantu (1-3) all have good numbers against him. Texas is hitting .270 against southpaws while averaging 4.5 runs per game. They are hitting .264 so far in the playoffs. The Yankee pen finally brought their home ERA below 4.00 as they had struggled there all season long.

This total is extremely low because of Lee, but I see some nice value in the line as both offenses should score enough runs to make this a higher scoring game than expected. Texas is certainly not going to go down easy tonight, because if they lose with Lee tonight, then the future looks pretty fvcking bleak.
