with the snow and mud on the field...with Jim Marshall running back
interceptions.......always had trepidation watching those games cause
the Central Division Title always hinged on those games...

I like the direction the Lions team is heading, I think with 2 more years of experience and more solid draft picks and they are going to be a 8 win team, I think Stafford is going to be a stud, much better than sanchez

Lions have a far better QB situation than the Vikings do.....

they have a far better outlook now than the Vikings who
have been stuck with this Favre debacle now for 2 years....

and for 3 when Favre will retire AGAIN and come back in 2011.....

It may be a homer pick but I think the Panthers are one of the teams with the most upside in the near future, they are just loaded with young talent, and nearly 75% of their players they have drafted

dude man unfair talk about favre the guy almost got you to the superbowl, u think tarvis jackson could even come close? Plus if favre didnt return with the current under staffs in the wide out, do u think seth or tarvis will deliver as well? People keep saying favre unretire and stuff, but if aint good y do teams beg him to return. look at the nba situation as an analogy iverson, mcgrady were once top elite players they are begging and nagging for a team. Teams wont go for players that can;t help them win, vikings kno that they got no one at the moment or during the summer to fill the QB position

Yup. Still love the Panthers. I got mine early. Got 7.5. I see lots of shops already went to 6.5

I've got the Colts -2.5 and Packers -2.5 Sunday, I'm thinking of taking the Panthers +7.5, Browns +3.5, and possibly Ravens +3.5 Monday

hey paco, isnt it dangerous to play against giants early in the season, they seem to wow ppl in the beginning and lose their motivation at the end, dont they? panthers are good, but will it be too early to ride on panthers ?

dumbest thing i've heard all week.there are first game jitters so to judge team strengths on one game is ridiculous. both of these teams will make the playoffs and minny will win division again. that defense is still solid. and the saints win at least 11-12 games and will be in division race with atl.
