#2210he has always had the pitching change filter in his system.
But it has always been there as a safety to weed out a possible loss - shrewd little bugger.
It never makes any difference who the pitcher is in any other game.
This officially goes down as a B series loss.Comment -

#2211I had the ML on the Angles for the B bet, and since the Pinero got hurt I thought the bet would be void. But it wasn't on bookmaker. I called them up and they said I have an option if I want Action or not, they said I had action. I didn't even know that was an option, so I said to them work with me, and they couldn't do anything they said so I hung up on the non american speaking guy.Comment -

#2213Just be super selective, maybe only bet a series, if the team to bet on has a better RPI. U may only get 10 plays per season, but u can hammer those 10. Like Phillies were swept by Mets, or Texas was swept by Baltimore. Just stick to these and u should do fineComment -

There's bound to be periods of losses, followed by periods of profitability. Everyone expects to be profitable every season, which may not (no make that WILL NOT) be the case. Even the very best can have an off season every decade or so, and you think this chump Morrison is better than the best?
He tweaks his system with different RPI filters, different RPI conditions, how can you validate the integrity of the system? Short answer is you can't, until you actually try it.
My suggestion is, if your bankroll solely depends on THIS particular system, stop.
I'm treating this as an "experiment", with funds which I've set aside just to try it out. It seems to fail this year, but last year was quite good. So I'm not ready to give it all up yet.
Remember, VARIATION.Comment -

#2218Forwarding my JM letter for you all to read...............
Jan,
I just wanted to shoot you an update on the LA Angels betting series.
Last night, the Angels' starting pitcher Joel Pineiro was scratched
because of a rib cage injury, and replaced by the novice Scot
Shields who hasn't started a game since 7 years ago in 2003.
Due to the fact that the LA Angels had a change of pitcher before the
game started, the game is voided under the rules of the sportsbook:
"If either listed pitcher fails to start the game for any reason, the
bet will be deemed to have 'no action' and the stake will be returned."
Last night's wager on the LA Angels was voided and cancelled due to
the fact that the Angels' starting pitcher did not start the game.
You can verify that your wager on the Angels was cancelled by
logging into your sportsbook. The amount you wagered should have
been automatically refunded back to you, and the bet was voided.
The series with the LA Angels is a push. It's unfortunate that
their starting pitcher's injury has caused us to miss out on an
almost guaranteed winner, but on the bright side, no money was lost
on a harmless [C] game. I have no doubt that we will continue our
winning ways throughout the entirety of this MLB season without a
bump, so stay tuned for the next system bet!

#2220if it won it is a win, if the pitcher was scratched it is a loss and a filter. if you play under the filters you will never lose. i have never lost using filters and doc brown's delorean, ever in the history of hill valley.
btw there was no mention of the pitching change on monday night, which is exactly what happened last night. i knew because i have a delorean. having a delorean helps and i would add this filter, it is recommended.Comment -

I honestly don't think his system is bad, but the way he carries it makes it seem flawless, and the fact that he lies about stuff and spins it his way every time makes me feel like his system is worse than I think it is...Comment -

Everyone understands he calls it a push so he can look better, and everyone knows that both the (A) and (B) bets lost money, so we all know he is bullshitting. Get over it, he is not holding a gun to your head and making you bet. Nobody is going to get every game right all the time, if they say they are they are lying. You know the saying, if it sounds too good to be true it usually is. No point in having a heart attack over it when everyone knows.
A lot of people play his plays to try and make money. Why chase it? Did anyone do the math on the profit and loss if you did not chase losses? Why not just play the plays and if you lose one, chalk it up as a loss and move on?Comment -

I was playing the chase way with one account until this last series loss, with that loss it flat-lined the account.
At the same time with a different account I was playing flat bets on each pick. $100 a unit, just to see how it would work out. While I was not keeping perfect records so I can not be sure I got every bet correct, so forgive me if I made an error with this.
The account that I was playing without chasing has made money, while playing his system (as best as I could manage) killed the account.
I think I will stick to playing each pick as they come with no chasing. I am not looking to get rich, just to make a little bit of money so I can have fun.
This is only my opinion, and you know what they say about that; Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one.
P.S. Just to make sure I was clear, I play every pick (A, B, or C) with the SAME bet. Example would be this last series with the way I bet I lost $300, not too bad of a loss. But I am playing for the long run, not short term gains.Last edited by Casper TFG; 07-29-10, 06:49 PM.Comment -

#2237I know everyone is frustrated with the system so far and trust me I am to. I've been having to catch up with my bankroll everytime (San Fran series loss, Toronto confusion, and now this). But anyway, I still feel that you can profit from this system so on to tomorrow because I think the Mets are an official Version 1 play against Zona, and a GOOD official play because they're home and there RPI is well above Arizonas.

#2238Remember this JM email from a 7/8/09 game? The Yankees are the hottest team in baseball at the moment! Going into the game against them tonight, our team's starting pitcher terribly sick, and the Twins had to scramble to get out a rookie starting pitcher playing in his first year as a replacement!
All things literally looked like a disaster waiting to strike. But as you know it...the system once again does not fail to disappoint!
Our [B] bet wins once again even as our team loses the game!
This game was a a cancel since rl with my books are for listed pitchers only. Min. finally covered on the fourth game.
