Right out here in my backyard I can see the airplanes up above carrying the Phillies into SFO and the A's and Blue Birds to Oakland Airport while I roast my tri tip. It's late, and I am feelin' good. Maybe I have had too much sticky. I don't know. Whatever... I have a few series that I have in mind to follow the second half of the week, and surprise f*ckers one of them is this particular series. The other hometown team is playing too but they are showing signs of a possible fire sale.
The Giants are 34-15 at home, and the Phils are 31-16 on the road. Something has to give. Sanchez is the give. He is 1-0 against the Phils and that is enough to ride him again. After all he's just getting started. Lopez already has a loss to the Giants so once again, why stop the roots of trends? Just keep going with them. Blanton is 3-2 overall and Sadowski hasn't ever pitched against the Phils. Advantage and wildcard to the Giants. Lincecum is harder to score off of than Moyer on any day. So that's all that I would need to get 3 wins in 1. I'm gonna roll with the home team.

Tampa Bay has an 8-2 record at home and straight up against the Royals. Talk about domination. The Royals are just plain bad and injured at the same time. Ponson will probably outduel Price who is not ready yet. Ponson is 4-1 overall his last 5 against the Rays, but from there on it's all perfection as Niemann and Sheilds are a combined 6-0 against the Royals in recent form. If the juice is too high for the series, then I may just wait out the first game and then pound them in the next two individually.
Rays
-140 (Projected) for series vs Royals If higher than -155 NO PLAY
Rays-ANYTHING -135 or under Game 1. If not then
Rays-1.5 RL ONLY if ML is more than -135 Game 1
Oh man do I love rolling with the Twins at home. And now that they owe the Angels a spanking, I think this series will turn ugly. Everything about this series says that it is an even affair. But I do see that Swarzak and Perkins are the only two pitchers of record in this series that are undefeated against the other side. I'm gonna have to roll with the Twinkles. I may sit out the 1st game. Blackburn gets lit up against the Angels and is only 1-3 against them.
Twins-120 for series vs Angels
Twins-1.5 +137 RL Game 1
And since we're here in the Bay Area, in keeping with that theme, we have the othr end of the spectrum, the Oaktown A's who are feeling kind of good after bombing out the Red Sox a couple of games. Facing the Blue Birds without having to face Halladay is a nice prospect. But there's only one thing. The remaining guys are 3-1 against the A's overall compared to 0-3 overall for the A's starters in this series. The Blue Birds are 8-2 overall their last 10 games against the A's and 7-3 in games out here in the 'Town. Well I have to roll with that.

I know that i will take a little heat for it, but the Pirates bats are just ice cold and worse than that is the morale of the team after watching management make trade after trade of their up and coming stars. The Nats are crushing the ball right now, and are a little more stable at this time nternally than the Pirates. Guys are coming to work with carry on bags over there. And to make matters worse they have to fly back across country with this type of skepticism and a lighter airplane.
