Nice G's! I really love baseball-reference.com ... With each game preview they give historical lineup vs. pitcher stats. Past performance really do help predict future performance IMO. It's not everything but it's a good piece to add to capping!Comment -

Well Philly is once again spitting out disappointment... 3-1 lead, 2 out and Hamels gives up a single to Zito, then a two-run double, then a brutal fielding error scores another run from 2nd. The under and the Phillies win were well on pace. Now not looking so good...

Not a whole lot brewing today. No system plays for today. I do like the Cubbies though (maybe FF over, or Cubs FF, or Cubs ML), Pirates are looking pretty nice as well (maybe a FF over), already laid a bet on Cain but Hampton surprisingly has amazing numbers vs. all Giants batters. I still think the Giants keep the train rolling. I like Cain more than I do Lincecum this year.Comment -

I have read all the posts on this thread. It seems you have a great system. I applaud, but it seems you second guess your system picks often. I have seen you left a few plays out just because you don't like them. I wonder if you are done tweaking and adding plays later? Is this a cut and dry system, or does it require some prognosticating on your part? Do you foresee this system consistently winning for the rest of the year and the next? Great results so far!!

Cash, I'm not too big on the Braves but if anyone is going to get it done it's Vazquez. Stauffer has thrown very well for the Padres so the under might be worth a look but at 7 it's way too low. I can see the Braves squeeking by 3-2 or even 4-2 I hope.
keel, in the early going I never second-guessed the picks and played them all. Lately, they have not been producing as well (although you can see the straight up record is still steadily producing positive units). This system picks moderate to heavy favorites (lines -120 to -180ish) and many of the plays lately have been on the road because the big ticket teams have been on the road (Yanks, Red Sox, Dodgers, Phillies - and these teams have not lived up to expectation lately; oddsmakers may be deliberately over-favouring teams or are simply having difficult time accurately predicting the current state of things). It seems that linemakers are having a tough time adjusting for the sudden drop in production from generally solid teams (Phils, Red Sox on the road before grabbing Martinez, and Mariners completely shitting themselves lately). Adding to that, some of the bottom rung teams are starting to pick up the slack (Nationals, Padres, A's) and so on. Once some of the bigger teams return home I think things will settle and I expect winnings to continue. Right now seems a little turbulent but losses are usually small compared to what's gained from one winning day. I'll ride out the storm for now and see what happens in the next week or so. I held off yesterday but would have gone 2-1 with the Dbacks and Cubs winning and the Pirates losing from straight system selections.Comment -

Took the Twinkies in a small parlay and hit the over 8 pretty heavy. Both teams have been slugging over .450 and have excellent numbers vs. their opposing pitchers. The only thing that might keep it under is if Baker decides to throw a gem. Cleveland have been hot though and can produce runs so I'm pretty confident this will sail over.Comment -
