Dexter the loses did not hurt too much... But the nba (always been my bread and butter) and surprisingly lately the NHL has been helping. I am just picking spots.. I am going to try a chase system... I know oh no! But seriously it should create more picks at least!

Remember I did bet baseball years ago wiped me out! That is why I quit before... On a nice 7 game win streak in baseball... I was about to stop the thread when I started out 2-3.

With the chase system I am working on I expect quite a few game losses, but not series losses. Thanks for stopping in have a great night...

I am looking for pitching mismatches and yes those do end up being the high ML's... But to be honest think about some of the Ml's in basketball!

In game 1, I went with a Detroit ML + Over 5.5 Parlay, and plan to stick with that in Game 2. I hate laying the -210 and I feel that there's a strong correlation between Det/Over and Chi/Under in this matchup, making this a strong parlay. Each game will really come down to Khabibulin's performance in net. So far he's allowing 3.3 goals a game on the road, but only 1.8 at home. Det has been putting up an average of ~41 shots per game, which is well above the 28 shots per game Khabi has has to face in the first 2 rounds. The Det team total should be a solid bet in every game as well (O/U 3 goals @ -130 for Gm 2), giving a few options to get more out of these games than the steep ML prices.

Going to try something new! I am going to go with a system I am working on. I will not be discussing details of the system. This system will have losses..., they are to be expected. These picks are not going to go into my record, they will go into a system record completely different from my picks. I will give these a shot to create more picks and warning....this is a chase system!

So the main point of this system, losses will occur sometimes more than wins. Remembering this is a chase, one win will be required per three games. I am working on filters which seeing I am spenting all the time on, I will not discuss either. Tonight I am going with my first system pick, the bets will be minimum bets seeing these are system based. The system record will be based on either a win, or a win within each three game series. So yes it will mean betting a little more if the first bet loses, and up to doubling again if second bet loses. This system is a test and once again plenty of losses are expected....

Ok...back with another system pick. Remember that the pick is based on a three game series not one game. One win in any series means a win and ends the series. A loss means a bet on game two, three or four in the series as needed. Warning these are chase based on a system I am developing and still in the works. System started out 1-0 on Friday with Tigers win. All losses in a series will be kept also for part of record keeping in a separate area. Risking only the money won on Detroit from Friday tonight on

Thanks one system, just started it is 1-0. The other picks are my own. I only pick 2-7 games a week. The system was created to produce more picks, and probably a much lower percentage. My own picks were hitting over 80%. But with just a few picks a week.

The system is basically a chase... I am thinkling that based on my filters that the Angels should not lose three in a row at home. They can lose, one, or two in the series but not the third. If they win a game the series ends. I wait for a new series or move onto the next.

This is normally a game I would not bet... But I am going to just start producing system picks which are chosen by the system, then filters applied, then I pick one of the series that are left. If it runs well I will put out 3 plays a day. But for now...lets try one at a time...1-0 up to now. Remember with the system, one loss counts only as a loss within a series...one win ends that series... The chase will last a maximum of four games... G.

Yes...hopefully everything keeps going smoothly long season... I like the Red Wings over the Hawks Wednesday night.. That would finish the series in 5 as predicted...no bet yet though...

These series picks will be interesting, back to even now. As expected there are going to be ups ands downs. Want to go with more picks but will run three series and see if it is worth continuing..

Angels lost second game, moving onto third game of series... As I said this is an experimental system and I am expecting losses (and hopefully wins too) until I make adjustments... Should be done with filters by tonight.

In the experiment stage my bets will continue to be small until I am positive the system works, or I will start over. I do believe in a long season, I can win more this way even though I have been successful with my own picks.

The system games have gone W, L, L. First win automatically ended the series with Detroit/Colorado. Second series White Sox/Angels continues tonight once again I am going with the Angels. Games are 0-2 in this series. First loss (risk.2 of a unit) cancelled out first win(won .2 of a unit), second loss down (.3 of a unit risked)...third bet risking approximately 1.1 unit to win .6 of a unit. So at this point system plays down .3 of a unit with tonights game pending.

Glad to see you hit them too. Nice job on the Mets. Weaver had a career era of 0.34 against the white sox which really was a great reason alone to bet the Angels yesterday. But being system based, I only use factors like that to bet a little more on the game.
