I like Dempster in this spot with Ramirez returning to the line up tonight. Sanchez for the Giants career wise has not been good. He has been ok this year, but lets remember the Giants are 2-7 on the road up to now and the Cubs are on a 3 game win streak.

Cohen one thing about me that makes my picks a little different. I never force them, do not enter any types of competitions/contests and just watch for those few plays a week I feel will have the best chance.

I usually end up in the area of 2 to 7 games a week max. Whenever I start like this week 2-0, I stay very conservative. Have not seen anything I like yet, but hopefully you win today... GL G.

I know Lilly can give up runs...but this number seems a little high. I also know when the books go high, the numbers usually go over... Small play...

Lilly had only allowed one earned run in 22 innings at home...starts game off by giving up two run homer...strange....very dark more rain coming in Chi-town lets see if they can get this in win or lose... Lilly era at home was 0.42 entering game at home...reason enough win or lose for me to take a shot...2-2 right now though 1st inning. Tornado watch in Chicago with high winds! I might be better off with a rain out!

Coming into game Young had given up 1 homer all year...gives up 2 in first inning...looks like a bad storm coming in chi-town...

I took it. I guess it was a trap looking at the first inning...3 HRs already!!! WTF! Oh well, with those pitchers the Padres offense, I would take this under everyday of the week. You usually only see totals this high in colorado and texas or if two bad pitchers are on the mound.

Not sure if you can see game there is a tornado watch! Wind blowing straight out... Young had given up one homer all year gave up two on three pitches! Lilly era under one at home gives up a two run homer right off the bat, lets see if this calms down. Not sure they get it in... Weather is causing the runs...not the pitchers... 39 pitches by Young first inning!


And you are right...anytime I see two pitchers with supporting eras...I will take the chance on the under when it is 11.5....but I am guessing at this point the storm was also factored in... There should probably be 1 run up to now...

game was called with 6 outs left in bottom of 8th with cubs up 6-4. Six more outs would of been a winner, will take the push and move on.

Thank you just trying to pick spots... I am in no way half as good a capper as some in here, but limiting my bets worked for nba season and up to now for baseball. I do get tempted to try four or five games a day, but would rather watch for pitching mismatches with teams with a decent bullpen. I try to avoid all the crap games.
