This is an overall great thread. Of course a lot depends on OP's personality and style. TBH you never suck with the dogs, you have a reliable system with decent variance which is profitable long term, but everyone knows this.

I can't see backing Yovani Gallardo tonight. Here's my reasoning, if you'd be okay with shedding some light on your decision (because J.A. Happ is no stud himself).

So obviously the basics, he has an ERA of 5.59 and a whip of 1.65. That alone scares me. But where it really makes me shy from him against a powerful offense like Seattle is his BAbip and G/F ratio. Dude has a .400 BAbip (% of batted balls that result in hits). That's insane. Granted he does strike out almost 12 per 9, it's still nuts. But his G/F is 0.45, which is scary considering he will be going against guys tonight who live to hit the ball in the air. That combo just doesn't sit well with me.

So maybe I'm missing something here that you could help me out with because it seems like a lot of people are on the opposite side of me on this one.

We always list our pitchers on the betting slip and so that makes the game scratched for us. Every time you see a pitcher change you know our game is scratched.

Absolute truth. That's why I liked your comment regarding the game. Our common goal is to kick the sports books ass. That simple. But the way you handicapped that game is awesome. That's why we love this thread. There are so many intelligent bettors in this thread, we have learned a ton in here and hope you guys do too.

What a comeback from Seattle. Texas couldn't save 10-5 lead.

That's the hallmark of these dogs sometimes. But, well, we know we are gonna lose half these games. But the Texas loss stung, no doubt about it. You can't complain about a 4-2 day with the dogs. Still love them, it's the only way to bet baseball.

Very good day but that dam Texas blew my 5 team parlay but I did hit 1st 5 innings Parlay but seeing Texas up 10 -5 and up the whole game and lose it in the 9th hurts.
