COLO +140..............4 UNITS - Reds come home after a 2-3 road trip hitting just .225 and avg. 3.0 runs per. Chatwood has been hot, in his last 3 outings he is 2-0 with a 1.53 ERA with 18 K's in 17 innings of work. Arroyo got hit his last outing going just 5.2 innings giving up 8 hits and 5 ER's. Career vs Colo. he is 3-3 with a high 4.98 ERA. The day/night splits of theses pitchers are big. For Chatwood has a 6.00 ERA in Day games vs a 1.11 ERA at night. For Arroyo he has a 1.59 ERA in day games and a 5.15 ERA at night. Reds will be without cleanup hitter Brandon Phillips. We are getting to the time of the season where teams coming home from from road trips don,t do that well their 1st game back.!..............................gl

I want to say this about this particular play (because I was on it as well, but at a much worse price): you rarely, if ever, see someone make a bet at +140 that closes at +117 and loses without a prayer of cashing. You got an incredible number there and I really feel sorry for you that you have nothing to show for it, especially given A) the Reds were a public play, and B) there was no injury news or late announced players being out (unless the Phillips news hadn't hit yet) that caused a 23-cent shift from the time you made your bet to the first pitch.

Keep plugging away, CT. Discouraging to say the least, I know.

Terp, as I have commented previously, I'll just add that your credibility here is obvious on a site known for a lot of animosity. Even in this year which is an anomaly for you, there have been few negative posts here because it is obvious you do the homework and post the same plays you bet real money on. Even IF the season does not improve as we desire, I hope you will return next year as we all know off years are an certainty, not a possibility, for all players. Just having honest guys, sharing honest opinions is such a rarity in the internet era. I don't have the courage you do, as I know others losing money on your picks wears on a man, even if they chose to of their own free will. Hang in there and hopefully this too shall pass. Rooting for you (we retirees must stick together) and hoping I am one of the good guys.

Lost with the Rocks last night, man this loosing is getting old...............going to put a stop lost limit of -50.00 units then close the thread down. We will see what happens over the next few weeks. I think my job here is done. When I started I wanted to pass along the info. and angles that I have learned over the many years of capping. Not that I know it all, if anything it's an indictment of my self on how I lost tens upon tens of thousands of dollars in the early 80's. I dont mind putting the work into this for I do have the time and enjoy it. What really pissed me off is when I posted the thought process behind a pick, that did take a lot of time to go back to each web site and make sure that I had all my data was correct,only to go 1 step ahead then 2 steps back. SD +157........2 UNITS - It will appear that I am making a case for COLO. but to me this line seems a little low.!( Colo-163) First Volquez is garbage and in 9.1 inning pitched vs Colo. this season he has given up 11 runs and 15 hits.! The Rocks last 7 games are avg 5.9 runs per along with a team BA of .291. And Volq. is 1-2 with a 5.70 ERA in his last 4 outings which include 11 walks.! DeLa Rosa is hot, 5-0 with a 2.17 ERA in his last 6 starts( an ERA of 1.86 last 3), he has also won 8 str. decisions @ Coors.! And all you have to do to bet Colo. is to lay "just" -163.??..........Pods get it done.........................gl

BREWERS -109....3 UNITS - Yes the Marlins are playing better.! But they have won only 18 games all season, 8 of those wins are against the Mets. I guess you could say they have their number. Gallardo has been struggling, in his last 3 starts he is 1-2 with a very high ERA of 8.04 and in his last 6 starts has a ERA of 6.25. But career vs the Marlins he is 3-0 with a 1.59 ERA and WHIP of 1.176 and has 34 K's in 34.1 innings.! I guess one could say that he has their number. Nolasco has pitched well lately but career vs. the Brewers is 2-2 in 32 innings with a high 7.71 ERA and WHIP of 1.776. The Marlins pen is spent and need Nolasco to go deep,can he.? One more thing Mil. has won 15 of 21 vs. Mia..................................... .......gl
