The Phoenix Suns visit the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday as they look to avoid a 2-0 series hole, as we offer our best Suns vs. Timberwolves player props and expert picks for Game 2 based on the best NBA odds.

After Anthony Edwards' incredible 33-point performance in Game 1, the No. 3 seed Minnesota Timberwolves (56-26) look to take a 2-0 series lead against the Phoenix Suns in Tuesday's Game 2. That game tips off at 7:30 p.m. ET on TNT from the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minn.

Edwards was brilliant in the third quarter, scoring 18 of his 33 points to spark an eventual 120-95 win for Minnesota. Phoenix will surely have a counter-punch with stars like Kevin Durant and Devin Booker looking to preserve the Suns' NBA championship odds.

Anthony Edwards Under 25.5 points ⭐⭐⭐

Part of making picks is admitting when you're wrong, as we were when we faded Edwards' scoring total in Game 1. We all mourn together. An equally valuable part is not reacting too strongly to small sample sizes.

It's rather telling that four of our five best sportsbooks have the Under juiced to -120 or worse, even after Edwards took over in Game 1. As spectacular as it felt in real time, he scored just 15 points outside of the third quarter and relied on a heavy diet of tough shots to score those 33 total points.

That comes after he failed to score more than 17 points in any of these teams' three regular-season meetings. With these odds implying a hit rate of 53.49%, we're holding our nose and fading Edwards in what remains a tough matchup on paper.

Devin Booker Over 31.5 points + assists ⭐⭐⭐

Nothing seemed to be going right for Booker in Game 1, as he couldn't even get layups to fall in an 18-point, five-assist performance. I'd be shocked if he delivers two straight duds.

Let's not forget that Booker averaged 33.7 points and 7.2 assists across the entire 2023 postseason, clearing this total in nine of 11 games. He also averaged just below this mark in three matchups with Minnesota this season in fewer than 32 minutes per game - well below what he'll play on Tuesday.

Devin Booker to lead all scorers ⭐⭐

If there was a way to bet on Naz Reid for this game, that would be my third play, though I don't love what remains of the limited offerings as of this writing.

That's why I'm offering a two-star bet here that I do still think has some value. As mentioned above, Booker was sizzling the last time we saw him in the NBA playoffs, scoring 35-plus in six of 12 games while shooting 58.5% on 21.9 attempts per game.

These +230 odds imply a 30.30% chance that Booker leads all scorers, which feels a tick too low for a player just as prolific with the basktball as Durant (+170) or Edwards (+220). A $10 bet would pay out $33 in total, which is a nice way to profit on a potential bounce-back effort from Booker.
