No, I just remember several people saying the winner of the third set would win the match and I wanted to bet and no one would bet because no one had any points.

exactly and I said it was wishful thinking on my part after Murray won the 3rd set. Even saying that it 'definitely not over with Djokovic on the other end'

I'm on Nadal too, really thought the pre match odds should have been closer to even money so had to put some on him, wager wise I'd want Nadal to win, otherwise I'd prefer Djoko to win so kinda split here.

Whats your other bet? I'm on over 39,5 which seem to shape up decently unless theres a blowout...

Yes it is, although I'm not sure I see why it's more pivotal than the second set. There's a huge difference between tied 1-1 and one player being in dominant 2-0 position, wouldn't you say?

I wouldn't say a set isn't huge, just that the winner doesn't necessarily become a lock to win.

I agree, I used to play table tennis, and you couldnt have a shirt with the same color as the match ball (white). Obviously shorter distances and smaller ball so makes even bigger difference, I havent played tennis but still I yellow might be inappropriate...

I wouldn't say a set isn't huge, just that the winner doesn't necessarily become a lock to win.

It's not a lock as we all seen the Murray/Djokovic match but if the match is locked 1-1 I would say the 3rd set winner is much more likely(understatement lol) to win the 5 set match.

I was on the over 3.5 sets. It was either -225 or -250 when I grabbed it so I was a bit worried about Djoko winning in 3 (although I really doubted that would happen) because that would obv f me both ways. Now at least I saved the chalk bet and can just cheer for Nadal. If he loses, I break even If wins, it's been a good night
