Just watching the Djokovic-Tsonga replay. Did not realize it got to double match point in the 4th for Tsonga. Funny if you just tuned in without knowing the score ... Tsonga looked like the guy about to lose the whole time.

That is I think the 3rd or 4th straight Slam I have won a futures bet on the Murray Quarter. Since the other quarters obviously do not yield much in upsets - Murray's quarter is right where I start looking. I don't fade him either in many of those spots, it's that his quarter usually offers the lowest odds on the top seed to win. He's been -180 or under in most Slams, obviously much lower for the French. Normally his quarter lines up where despite the perception, he is the strongest competitor mostly - obviously this year will be different with the rankings shifts over last year ... but that just makes it nice to try guys like Ferrer to win @ plus odds still.
I took a unit on each of those above wagers by the way. Just needed one to win for a profit and really thought today's match-up was the most likely scenario where both would be in place.
