I actually think he'd rate a better shot on a different surface. I'm still not sure how good he is on clay against some of the best players. Will be an interesting match because he's beaten Berdych on other surfaces. Good proving point for him tomorrow if he can win.

Simon has already won twice this week against lesser players. Tipsarevic dressed down Montanes, but that's to be expected. This is still Tipsarevic's worst surface by far whereas Simon won a title in Hamburg on it last year. The head-2-head suggests it will be a battle, but that over the course of the matches - Simon's vanilla style of putting the ball back into play and forcing errors winds up wearing down on the Serb. For Tipsarevic, he's one of those guys who isn't big on engaging in rallies for the most part so he will probably try to rip winners off. We've seen it plenty that this works when he can hit every shot and hit his spots .. but the question is can he keep it up for an entire match?

Absolutely, I hate tennis, this Haase guy lost to Lamine Quahab in Casablanca with easy straight sets, and I picked Haase. Then, picked against him in the match against Monaco, he won with retirement when Monaco was up a break in 3rd set. Now, this shit. He can't freaking miss a shot, and every break goes his way. I can't believe it.

Unfortunately that isn't the first time I have been burned by Bellucci. He's just a mental wanker. Honestly though almost every player on tour is prone to bouts of this sort of insanity. Look at Ferrer yesterday. Very difficult to predict when the moment is going to come unfortunately.

Gratzi. Had a feeling Dolgpolov would get a set since Djokovic had only seen him the one time last year and it wasn't on clay. He made some pre-match comments about how tricky he thought it was going to be as well. Knew the +1500 was a pipe dream, but +500 wasn't so bad.

If Djokovic survives today ... Berdych tomorrow at juicy odds is worth it IMO regardless of the h-2-h. Djokovic's mental state of mind with his Grandfather's death appears to be effecting him greatly. Haase shouldn't be sniffing a chance in this 1st set, but somehow he's back in it after trailing big.
