Can you please give a run down on how the draft works, for someone who knows nothing about fantasy leagues...

Do we need to go out and research which players might play in each of the upcoming tourneys or only need to worry about the first one first?

Maybe a bit of strategy advice if anyone wants to give up tips at this point

Well the reason you'll have a roster of eight players is so that you can look over the draws for each week's events and see who is playing where and put in whomever you think is going to have the most success that week. And of course the free agent process also gives you a chance to pick someone up if you have injuries, etc. to deal with.

Yes, as many people as want to be involved can. Will make it more interesting with more players being drafted. Just pay your fee [10 SBR points] and make sure you look over the rules. Draft again is Sunday @ 6pm ET. Make sure you check out the Chat Room set-up for the draft and make sure you can get in. All that is available on the 1st page of this thread.

How long do you expect the entire process to take EP?

Somewhat dependent on the final # of entries, but I am hoping for about an hour. I don't think it's going to take all that long.

Won't be available until the time of the draft. Have to see who shows up before doing it. Once everyone who shows, shows ... I will randomize the order and then post it. Will give everyone about 5-10 minutes after that to get ready before pick #1.

Okay, remember you need to pick FOUR starters for each week and ASSIGN a replacement player for EACH starter from your remaining players in case a player withdraws before the tournament starts.

These replacement players WILL NOT be used if your player pulls out once they have already played a match in the tournament.

THE DEADLINE TO SET YOUR ROSTERS EACH WEEK WILL BE SUNDAY NIGHTS @ MIDNIGHT ET. PLEASE POST YOUR STARTERS AND THEIR REPLACEMENTS IN THIS THREAD EACH WEEK.

If you do not set your lineup, the lineup from the previous week will be used. For this first week, if there is no lineup set - you will not accumulate any points - so make sure you set it!

EP, i sumbitted my lineup but doesnt it make more sense to rate your subs from 1-4 and if any of your starters withdraws the top guy on the list takes their place. Otherwise its just a guessing game where to put which sub because you cant possibly know who will withdraw.
