Wozi, Kuznetsova, Djokovic, and Federer. I'm wanting to go big on Djokovic, what do you think? I'm also leaning on Wawa and Petkovic. Prolly gonna go with Berdych too.

I like Djokovic to definately win the match but was surprised at how big his odds were today. Definate no play at that price for me.

Petkovic is very capable of beating Sharapova. She is there for the taking but has found a way to win each match somehow

Kuz I am not to sure about. Might have a big letdown after the big win over Henin.Happens all of the time in tennis.

Woz and Federer both can't go wrong

Berdych/Verdasco match scares me. To close to call. Would lean Berdych if I had to pick one but will just pass on it

Taking Roddick over Wawa myself. Just have to hope for his serve to be on and for him to fluke a break or a minibreak at some point. If the match is just a baseline type game then Roddick is ******. Taking a shot here.

Kuznetsova is pissing me off. I have her to complete a parlay. I know she got Henin at less than 100%, but Schiavone is too. Hopeully that hooker starts playing better. It's not like Schiavone is lighting her up or anything. Lots of people got burned on Verdasco again I think. When I saw that line I knew lots of people would get on him because of it and that's always trouble.

Yep. From experience I knew Verdasco was poison at that price. It was just begging to be bet on, but that's usually when he lays one of these matches. GD Kuznetsova, get the 2nd break this set you man-boy.

She's in big trouble career wise. Her father has been begging a friend of a friend of mine who coached her in '04-'05 to come back as her coach since she sacked hers on the way to Melb. Unfortunately for her, her father still believes someone would take a big pay cut for the 'privilege' of working with her so the guy I know told them nicely to get fukked since he's making much more money as a floater coach and doesn't have to contend with her family. Or her for that matter.

Her serve is gone and until she comes down to Earth (or her father let's her) and they realise that without her serve she's nothing so it's time to work on the ball toss for starters, she's going to continue to have big trouble.

Nicely said Shari. Since the shoulder injury Maria hasn't been the same. Another problem of hers is the serena williams syndrome in that every shot has to be hit as hard as possible...what happens when someone does that, either something very good or something very bad. When Maria is a bit off, it's 70% bad.

Looks like an 0-2 night here with Azarenka and Roddick both getting destroyed. Roddick looks like a girl out there against Wawrinka right now. His shots have no power on them at all and Wawrinka is just smoking winners left and right. Let's get it back tomorrow

Another day another discussion with regards to Rafa's health. Guess he was talking to Jim Courier and said that he is still feeling ill and he doesn't know what to expect looking forward in this tournament. Not sure if he is just saying that to get people thinking about it or if he is actually sick. They have been commenting about how he is sweating more then normal and doesn't look right out there but he is still winning. He is still the favorite to win the Aussie Open so obviously the oddsmakers aren't too worried about it.

Lot of people are going to get sucked in on taking Cilic today because of these comments. Not saying Cilic doesn't have a shot because he has been playing well, but Cilic isn't exactly coming in here without his own problems - grueling 5 setter, he won't be the freshest either.

Ya I agree. Still see Nadal winning today's match but after that point I am not sure.Guess we will see how he does tonight.

I think some of the smartest bets today ... taking the props on the O/U for sets. 3.5 is set pretty reasonably on all four men's matches. I think Nadal-Cilic, Raonic-Ferrer and Soderling-Dologopolov could all go at least four. Melzer-Murray not so sure about because I think Murray is playing great right now and Melzer really has nothing to hurt him.

I just can't see Nadal losing. If he really is feeling sick he sure as hell isn't showing it. He hasn't dropped a set yet. In his last match he was down 4-0 in the 2nd set and won it 7-5. He hasn't even been taken to a tiebreak yet. He had given up 5 games 1 time and 3 games 1. Cilic on the other hand got taken 5 sets by Isner. Nadal is the best in getting all over the court while Isner is basically a statue out there. Cilic is 1-0 against Nadal head to head but that wasn't a match in a major. Just can't see Nadal losing.

Could definately see all matches going at least four sets as well. Ferrer is not unbeatable and I am thinking Raonic has a punchers chance here. Soderling likes to have loose sets as well so four sets in his match is a definate possibility. Cilic/Nadal is a tough call. Would probably pass on that one.

Not sure what odds you are getting but I see "will ferrer win 3-0? No -138" which is a pretty good line.

Definately something to think about before the matches start

The Raonic over is going to be a decent sized bet for me. I have to back the Canadian and even If he doesn't win, I think he'll give it a good fight.

Mind you I could be really biased here.

Also looking at the Melzer handicap but not sure yet. Best of luck Staco!!

Dologpolov is playing very well. Not so much about Soderling sucking. Dolgo is taking it to him.
