Unfortunately it doesn't have the match we're looking for. It's an ATP Champions match in Sydney. Enqvist vs Rafter. I was actually hoping an obscure channel on Foxtel was showing the match but I can't seem to find it so I'm watching the NBL game instead.

Yeah, these matches are a bit of a crap shoot. I've made some decent cash just fading Leconte and taking McEnroe but this line just seemed bizarre to me considering Enqvist is miles ahead on the leaderboard. I assumed the books gave too much credit to Rafter being at home - and maybe they still did - but I honestly don't bet enough on these, or Challengers, to kill me or help me that much whatever the result. Just wish I could watch the matches.Comment -
My only posted bet on the first match will be Roddick/Sod over 12 games in the first set. I was actually debating putting money on each of them to win 7-5 and 7-6 because it would be guaranteed profit and a huge profit if the 7-5 hits but if one of them wins 6-4 I'm screwed. So I'll just take it a bit safer and risk less money. Best of luck everyone on this match!

I really don't know. After watching the Monfils/Verdasco match, I honestly couldn't bring myself to put money on that turkey. It was probably the most hilarious tennis match I've seen in ages. Unfortunately, the 2nd funniest/dreadful was the Murray match the night before - I thought nothing would ever top that one and good old Monfils did the next night.
If you truly believe Monfils playing at home is enough to get him over the line, put a LITTLE on him. I really don't think any match today is worth more than little bets especially since Monfils is probably the biggest enigma in tennis. You have no clue which version will appear at any time. But I will say this - if you have access to live betting and you see him start to jump/bounce up and down on the baseline when waiting for Murray to serve, hammer Monfils. For some reason that works like his little jumpstart tool and after that he turns into the player of the century. No clue why but it's pretty much free money.

Really like Monfils right now but I can't get anything right on these French chickens. Same for the Russian players. They play one match as if they were the second coming of Federer, then lose in straights or retire because of an "injury".I really don't know. I think Davy/Llodra 2-1 has a decent chance, Murray will probably win or lose 2-0 and Fed is a decent 2-1 chance too. These are all guesses on my part though. I just missed my big gut play today (either Sod or Roddick 7-5 in the first set) so I'm feeling like I've used all of my mojo already tonight.

Which is the best book for live betting? You can tell so much about a tennis match by the way the players conduct themselves. In the Fed/Murray final a few weeks ago when they were doing warmups Federer kept dropping the ball while Murray was hopping around all pumped up. I hammered Murray and he dominated.
Verdasco's first match in Paris was very similar. He was pumped up to play and bouncing around and I hammered him. Just two examples of body language giving great info. Books also seem to have good lines for live tennis, easy to get reads on if you should hedge or not.Comment -

Should've added - definitely live betting when you're watching a match and can read body language is a powerful tool. In the Verdasco/Monfils match, I was watching with another poster on here but my son was fussing around so I wasn't paying attention much. He told me to take Verdasco to break in the 3rd game of the 2nd set for +400 but didn't sound completely confident because here at a book in Australia at least you have to call in live bets and place your game bets 2 games before. I asked him 30 times and he didn't want to say 100% because he didn't want to be responsible for losing my cash which is fair enough but just kept saying he's going to break him now. Sure enough I laid off and he broke him. So then we figured he'd break him the 5th game as well since Monfils looked like he was ready to sit on the court and wait for his pizza to come. I hit that bet and lo and behold - that friggin clown started jumping up and down when Verdasco was serving. I looked at my friend and said my bet's screwed. I knew it. As soon as Monfils does that, you may as well cash out your retirement fund and back him. I was so disgusted that Monfils fukked me again that I stopped watching and took my son for a walk around the block in the middle of the night.

Use BetFair if you don't already. I'm sure they take Canadians. Not only do they have the best live betting options but if you pay close enough attention you'll be able to see possible fixes due to the volume of $ traded and can report back on here just in case one of us misses it.
Was going to PM you earlier today to figure out some Challenger plays but got sidetracked by my son. We'll definitely have to get sorted in the early rounds next time as that's where I think there's good money to be made. Too hard when the tourney gets deep and we can't even watch the damn thing.Comment -
