I'm already on my countryman in the evening session, I really think Stan is going to beat Roddick, he has improved his game a lot since he hired Lundgren last summer. The win against Murray at the US Open gave him the confidence he can beat some of the best players in the big tournaments, and I think Roddick is clearly not the player he was so Wawrinka has all the cards in his hand to make the first ever swiss match-up in Grand Slam quarter-finals happen.

I wish I slept! Unfortunately I get very, very little sleep anymore so you can count on me to keep you company during the US Open if I'm not back home by then.

757- Wawa/Roddick match is hard for me but I'm literally in the same boat as I was yesterday with Melzer. Two days before their matches I said I liked both players despite their opponents being two of my favorites (obv Baggy isn't a favourite of mine anymore). Yesterday no one liked Melzer but I stuck to my gut instinct and was right. Today there is a bit more support for Wawa on here but that makes no difference to me. I'm just going to do my thing and hope what I thought 2 days ago was right.

The women are starting now so there's not much for me to say. Maria is going to lose either this match or the next and I'm jumping on the fade train now because these odds are wrong in my mind.

I think it's partly because they're best friends and partly because if you look at the form of both players, Stan is the play. But that's obviously not a guarantee he'll win. I think Stan does have an advantage though of being able to talk to Fed and have him tell him what he needs to do to get the win.

Hopefully it'll be a great match either way.

I agree but that's why they're normally only small plays for me like today. I've said it in here 100 times that I'm terrible at totals but I still keep trying to learn.

With that being said, I'VE BOUGHT BACK MY WAWA over. I still like it but I'm not willing to give even a little bit of my profits away again today. Been an awesome day so far and I'm trying to be safe now.

It's all good though. My first impressions so far is that Stan has made some great winners and I'm thinking the theory of him talking to Fed is looking pretty likely.

Also, compared to the Melzer/Baggy match last night, this is like watching paint dry. So slow.

I completely neglected to consider that Wawrinka has a good strong service game also. Over 41.5 is a stretch but definitely capable in this match. I know Roddick has a good serve but I figured he'd be a tad rusty.

Wawrinka exposing Roddick now! It's kind of hard to see the over 41.5 after watching the 1st set unfold. Going to sleep and will be shocked if my Wawrinka money isn't in my account when I wake up.
