If Pova's serve is on level with where it's been most of the tournament, Genie will need to find another level. She can def win a set though, total is hard to predict IMO.
Hey Eagles did you see the last match - Believe she was under 50% for first serves in. Was winning over 68% on second serve you expect her to replicate that with genie on the other end - I'm counting on Sharapova serve not being onComment -
Rare that she gets above 55-60% on 1st serves in, so not shocked. Obviously you don't want 2nd serves all day, but the stat can be misleading. Alot of these chicks have higher 1st serve pct but they're just putting it into play without any force. Pova seemingly is power on 1st & 2nds where her 2nds may be way better than some 1sts for others.
She's at 52% of pts won off 2nd serve. Anything above 50 is good for WTA. If you look at Genie, her serve seems to fail her more in these big matches against power players. Just not sure she's got another gear on serve just yet. I think it's all about pressure, if you're up against anyone serving well, mentally you are going to be weary of having to hold more than if you're playing some fluffer where you'd say, no big deal I'll break back on them.

Well the Wawrinka future didn't work out quite how I was hoping. Since he struggled, he's basically the same price v. Kei as the futures price to win the quarter. So basically I've got Stan on the ML. Def hedge somehow on Kei. Have to think on it.Comment -

Little worried over the elbow. Seems to come & go, but takes some bite out of his serve. Yesterday Stan took his foot off the gas too soon. Still really don't know Nishikori's form, think Ferrer was done from the Simon battle, so he got worked easily. Fresh Nishikori is the worry.Comment -
Little bit exaggerated there. Looked at the stats and his 1st & 2nd serve avg speeds are nearly the same now from first match. Problem is you don't know if it effects him in a key game where ya maybe he can't find an extra gear.Comment -
