Should be able to find Kyrgios at better odds at the moment.. Matt, what are your thoughts on why there is so much money on Robredo? Usually public loves Kyrgios and considering Tommy played 5 sets I am surprised public is all over him

Not even close to a coin flip IMO. I've watched both players this tourney

not your fault...tennis is like that...problem is you nev er can count on maximum effort to win with these guys cuz they get so many opportunites/"chances" to prove themselves...so it's ok to "waste" any number of them...

contrast to combat sports, like mma...where u get just a few fights a year...and almost never get a rematch with the same dude...every...and i mean EVERY fight (and EVERY minute of EVERY fight) is balls to the wall...no regular season vs playoffs...no minor vs. major tourney...it's MAXIMUM effort each and every time...

tennis...it's "ah well, i made the SF...that's pretty good already...and my calve is bothering me....and i have another tourney in a few days"...

when u cap u can only assume max effort...but it's actually quite unrealistic outside of GS's...and even then with multi-millionaires playing...and appearance feels being more than most of us makes in a half year...not even then..."oh well"...

                            WTF is right!

It was just weird the way it happened, after all it was in Bangkok. Yes, I am suggesting Thompson threw this match for a huge payout. I shoulda know when the odds were too good to be true for a 3rd day in a row. Thompson was rolling him early, then out of nowhere, couldn't win shit. Kyrgios, what a fckin clown he is. I thought he could take it to a worn down Robredo. Kyrgios... The next Monfis I bet

That's why (fitguy) when you get a guy like Robredo at even money, in a major he loves, you take him. He was like an MMA fighter tonight and I can't wait to back him against "Stan the Man" or the "Stanimal" (a mental midget if there ever was one) in a rematch of their Aussie open. Robredo is a "man," and an animal, most of these other guys are wusses. Stan got a walkover today so he should be well rested, but would you want your hard earned money on a guy who jumps ship at the first sign of trouble?

                                  31st August WTA/ATP:

                                  - Lucic-Baroni +1.5 sets 100$ to win 80$

                                  - Butorac/Klassen Doubles + Anderson ML 4.02 Risk 100$ to win 304$

I like the above plays. Anderson is a bit of a sleeper here IMO. Cilic has only played one match and Marchenko was neck and neck with him until a twisted ankle. Cilic has been decent on hardcourts but I really think Anderson can squeez this out, he looked good by forcing the issue on Janowicz. Butorac/Klassen looked good in there two opening round matches, I think they will have a deep run here similar to AUS. Garcia/Oswald have been a bit lucky catching the French doubles team off their game and beating another Rosol/emrich team. Butorac/Klassen are seasoned doubles partners. I expect them to come through
Lucic-Baroni has been outstanding. She has beat some solid opponents(Halep in straight sets) and I think she can beat Errani. I'm suprised there's no respect for Baroni here, the line seems off.

Poet, I looked at it and I saw nothing. I don't see Simon winning. Maybe on a indoor hardcourt. My gut says he loses 3-0 sets

I wont. I am not good at it lately.

I think matt needs to put his record here as some not-so-daily posters in SBR might find it a good idea to tail him as he "seems" to know his tennis. I think he knows his tennis but discipline and perserverence is never there. I have nothing with matt and him posting plays, he is quite the good guy but people need to understand he likes posting play after play.

I disagree. The tread is 40 pages long. If someone is dumb enough to blindly tail without doing their own research into Matts past, they deserve to be parted from their cash. Or they might get lucky and come in during a heater.

that Errani match is tough to call.. both coming off a signature, emotional win. Who prevails?

Don't like Anderson. I have Cilic in a couple of small parlays. That win over a jaded, out of sorts Jersey was not impressive.

I hope Errani goes down, can't stand the little t w a t, but I'm not betting any of her matches again. She has cost me over a grand (betting on or against her) over the past year.
