You are right, he is unstable... one has to be very careful when picking such guys. I found the odds too good, even if Struff is a solid player. It's good I didn't watch the match.
Another such player (and a French one) is Johansson (but I faded her yesterday). She is a known nutcase. Yesterday, she won the first set 6-0 but then, she lost.

If we check the last few years only, we get 25 matches between these two players since 2009, 16 matches without a tiebreak and only 9 matches with a tiebreak (it is also important to note that some of these matches have been best of five and not best of three... which increases the probability of there being a tiebreak).
