I had Nieminen at +1.5 sets at +110. Looked like a mistake by a bookie because ML was +125 but it didn't go through. He was up a break in 2nd and 3rd set.

French Open Mini-View

Nadal Quarter
The injuries to Almagro & Haas along with the outster of Dimitrov leave Nadal in great shape. Ferrer remains the only threat in this quarter and that would come in the QFs. Thiem should pose an interesting test for Rafa, but it's doubtful that the youngster has enough consistency to really push Rafa other than within a set or two. The rest of his part of the quarter is littered with garbage. Ferrer also has a fairly clean path here. If health prevails, Nadal vs. Ferrer looks like a very likely quarterfinal.

Wawrinka Quarter
The suprising loss of the 3rd seed has left this quarter wide open. Andy Murray looks the main beneficiary if he can continue to round his game into form. The top of the quarter now looks to shape Fognini as a possible major player. The big problem is a wildcard named Gael Monfils that may provide one of the most entertaining matches in the tournament in the third round. Monfils came with an injury concern, but between his dance-off and his actual match-play ... he looks just fine. In Murray's half, he'll face some stiff competition. Kohlschreiber. Verdasco. Gasquet. All have the game on this surface.Gasquet's back is still a major concern. I really like this quarter to produce some surprise and I think that means Fognini or Monfils to the semis. Murray could scoop in and snag it, but I'm still not 100% on him being fully good to go on this surface.

Federer Quarter
This looks like a very winnable quarter for Federer. Gulbis looks to be his main threat to a quarterfinal. Up top, Berdych has advanced with only some slight trouble thus far. Robredo conceivably could give him a push and Bautista-Agut has already frustrated him once this year. Watch one of the ageless wonders on tour in Robredo in this section, he could sneak though if Berdych shows weakness. I would not be shocked to see a bit of a surprise quarterfinalist or two in this quarter if Gulbis can take it to Federer early. He still has Stepanek to beat to get to that point though.

Djokovic Quarter
Djokovic does not have the easiest quarter of the seeds, but it's full of players that lack his guile and consistency. He has Cilic next and then potentially Tsonga or Janowicz. While they might possess shock-ability on their best days, their best days have been missing in action mostly. Up top, Raonic leads the seeds and looks to have an opportunity for a quarterfinal. His serve has been stout so far and the big test is probably next with Gilles Simon. Raonic won their only clay court meeting three years ago and figures to be a better player now, but Simon at Roland Garros could be amped up. All-in-all, very hard to see Djokovic not making it out of this quarter even with some decent players left in his way.

One thing that I definitely dont agree "ageless wonder" Robredo... Wont do anything the way he plays. So vulnerable in every aspect of his game. And I loved the guy here last year.

Also agree with Sock, he was so lost (no serve - all wrong decisionss) against Isner and Johnson made an insane comeback against Lokoli with good serve, forehand + heart. Huge price rise means something though
