It doesn't. It's also irrelevant beyond the fact you mentioned, but I can assure you I am not betting amounts that are insignificant to me. A unit is well beyond 10$ for instance.

I only make bets I am more or less confident in, and how confident I am in them is derived by the units I stake.

poet, give it a rest...asking someone's unit-size is like asking someone's monthly salary...it's personal...that's why we use "units" instead of $...

HC has divided his entire bankroll into about 200 units...and indicates exactly how many, out of this finite-number of units, he's risking on each play...

a good example is the pending play on errani...he's risking 20 units= 10% of his entire stake...pretty damn "money where ur posts are" confident, I'd say

My units also vary depending on the size of my bank-roll, and like I said I am fairly terrible at money management so beyond the bets I state in this thread I can go over the top sometimes. As I've mentioned before, I also make far more bets (especially live ones) than I record here.

I will add this though: I've never bet more than 1000 $ on one bet. So I'm afraid I'm not your wannabe millionaire – yet!

HC, what do you think of the Halep matchup? I thought at -200 she was a good deal. Should I be worried?

Yes. She wasn't her pre-USO self today at all, and what's more Petting Zoo didn't completely suck ass today, as she is sometimes prone to do. My initial reaction was to jump on Halep @ 1.6 as well, but the more thought I gave it the more I thought "no bet".

That said, I'd probably consider @ 1.5 more or less fair odds.
