He did but if you were watching the match. Up to that point he didn't look too good (I know this is tsonga) but a win is a win I'll take it.

I was. Besides that however, my point is that -3.5 wouldn't have been covered with the single break in 2:nd because he'd have served trailing in 3:rd. Unless he broke twice in the third which is unlikely.

HC, couple of questions. What do you think of the over in the A Rad match (19.5), I know Pav is tired but one close set should be enough and also what is a unit for you?

@ evens I think it's a decent bet, though I'm terrible at game-capping. I do give Pavlyuchenkova a good shot at grabbing at least a set; most likely the first.

Also: About one per cent of my bank-roll. I will admit I am terrible at management on occasion however.

Thanks. I also notice you are on Garcia Lopez. I took him today but had in a parlay with the over on the Gulbis match, which did not hit. Both these guys seem to want to win this shitty tournament, but why do you like GL?

I like the bet because he's more likely to win than 1/3 times. I like him because he's been hitting his stride over the course the past six months, conjuring solid performances on as well as off clay. Clearly he's doing well on these courts and after utterly dismantling Sousa today I'm even more confident in my assessment. Gulbis is often hit or miss, and he hasn't dealt with any grinder remotely close to GGL this week. Guillermo's consistency should make Ernests pay to some extent.

Tsonga 2-1 was posted late, and what you missed other than that should be Kamke 1:st since I made that bet two minutes before Tsonga started serving. C'Moon and GGL are playing Tsonga and Gulbis respectively Sunday in the two ATP finals of the week.

Other than Pavlyuchenkova which regards the finals taking place in about six hours, that is correct.

Thanks for the clarification, HC, but it still doesn't help me get an idea of a dollar amount. You could be betting pennies for all I know For instance, when someone says a unit for them is 1grand and that a one unit play is a large play for them, then I know how confident they are in their bet and I can make my decision accordingly.
