This is a security measure they take against potential fraud or multiple accounts. It is normal and actually quite ok, but in this case you really are unlucky.

Maybe if you have some proof that you did use to live at the old address you can convince them that you actually moved from there. Also is it impossible to pick up your mail from the old address? If you can do that then your problems are solved.

You signed up with an address which you knew to be wrong. Yes, their verification procedure is excessive and a complete pain but you will get it sorted out.

Luiz now I understand, and indeed it is ridiculous. It seems that this is an honest mistake/ missunderstanding so it should be easy for them to understand your situation as it is quite clear if you have the proof that you actually did live at that address.

Unfortunately if they are regulated by some "laws" then it is harder for them to bend those laws or avoid them...

Take for example brokers for trading on stock market or forex exchange in England. They are obligated by law to request such documents for proof from their customers in order to prevent fraud, money laundering etc. If they don't apply those rules they can be in trouble and get fined or get their license suspended. I am not an expert in law but that is how I understood this issue. Justin7 on the other hand is really god at these things so you should just contact him, or make an official complaint with sbr and hope for the bets and quickest solution.

Don't be afraid. This is a big and respected bookmaker that makes a lot of money all the time. They wouldn't want to steal your money and they wouldn't have any reasons to make your life difficult. They usually aim for complete customer satisfaction (unless you are trying to do arbitrage). Your situation should be resolved, so don't be afraid.

If you allready made a complaint with sbr they will see into it, you just have to be patient. You maybe in a hurry but it might take some time to get this sorted out. Even if it takes a couple of days for sbr to respond to your complaint, they will still do their best to help you or at least clarify the situation for you.

Perhaps, for many here in the forum, this money is little. They are big and old players. But for me it is big. I bet 2 days with my account, I got a good money (for me that I'm not much)

This is ridicilous. you should complain here, IBAS and to wherever they are regulated (UK I guess). They have the right to ask for documents and proof of address but everything else is bullshit. holding your ID next to your face while reading newspaper from your country with recent date on it is the next step and then you will have to send your stool sample recording it while you are doing it because if you do not, it may be someone elses. this is sick, SBR help this guy

Actually it's fairly standard.

Some posters are beyond naive as to how prevalent fraud and forgery are in certain parts of the world. If there are folks in Romania and other parts of the world signing up everyday to try to scam 6 points, you'd better believe the sportsbooks receive a whole range of characters. Typically a guy suspected of fraud or bonus abuse saying he has no address would raise some flags. Our suggestion here would be to oblige the request for the picture of the passport.

Wow. When a book does this its because something has matched their internal fraud controls. They have some kind of irregularity. Sometimes a player shows up on a scammer report from a private service they subscribe to. The book will not tell a guy what the irregularity is because they want their internal controls to be a secret.
