#318It's educational. There are actually players who feel "fair" only exists when the casino has the edge. An interesting perspective.Comment -

#322After reading that chat log, I will never e-e-e-e-e-ever deposit at 5dimes, and I suggest no one else should either.
That chat log should be enough reason for an automatic downgrade to C- status. I assume that 5dimes pays SBR, so that downgrade wont happen. It also renders SBR quite useless because they cant be unbias in this situation. How fair are any of these ratings really?!?Comment -

#323More than that...it regards an organizations rep that gives little grace, yanks accounts ad noseum who admitted an error, yanked the entire balance except initial deposit and expects grace for the mistake they madeComment -

#332I guess Tony the douche is too ignorant to see that all this bad press is hurting him badly.....IMO the op should be paid $1000 and Tony should write it off as a good gesture and part of the cost of doing business..
His reputation could make a huge comeback with an apology and a reasonable settlement; and he should do it very quickly as this thread gets more steam and more 5d haters.Comment -

#335I'm willing to bet that over 80% of the people in this thread don't even understand the issue. As mentioned in another thread, the +390% advantage would translate into something like this. I'll raise it +400% to make it easier:
1 wins 4
5 wins 20
25 wins 100
125 wins 500
625 wins 2500.
Not only is that comparable to a bad line at a sportsbook, but you would get to bet it game after game after game. There is just no way on earth that this player deserves the 32K. He is lucky to get anything at all, and I think he should get a little for identifying the error, which has protective value for the book.Comment -

#337Look at the facts. Not the uproar by the masses.
If somebody tries to steal from you, and he acts like a gentleman, does that make him less of a thief? Believe me. It's not Tony trying to steal the money. Tony is the guy running a sh*tty casino, which is unfortunate, because he has a great sportsbook.
This is no different than a player betting into a bad line. The only thing being different is that he got to do it over and over. The OP was smart, and knew what he was doing all along. That's why he wasn't even angry when he didn't get paid. He was always into this to make a deal. And he knew that he had the forum, with an already sensitized crowd, to help him make his deal.Comment -

#338They should at least give him a % of his winnings. When someone exploited a bug with sportsbetting, they reportedly let him keep his account as well as give the player a % of the winnings. This is not a bug in the casino software though.... just outright incompetance. But they should still give the player something. It would give 5dimes an incentive to be on their toes and do what they can to make sure that their casino is running as it should.Comment -

furthermore...if you side with any book in the event of a bad line..casino game...or whatever...then your an assshole!!!!...example...if your stupid enough to list your house for sale for a dollar...meet the buyer..and complete the sale by take HIS money...then you have ZERO foundation to come back crying...oooh, it was a mistake..blah blah...i didnt realize the price was wrong blah blah...you eat it as you should...just like any other business that makes a pricing mistake...so why should they be saved every time they fuk up?????????????????????????????????????? ???????????????????????????????????????? ???????????Comment -

#341just shut up dude....shut the fuk up lol....this is NOOOO comparison to a bad line at a sports book....your speaking as if every casino online offers the same exact games that tony "creates" ....let me say that one more time for you....THAT TONY CREATES!!!!!! if a line in the book is bad..then yes its easy to notice that...also cuz you have other books to reference that line to...but this is NOT the case in a casino game...especially one that was created by the owner of the book....if he stupid enough to make a jackass game, where HE programed the odds, and objective of the game, etc....then he needs to own up and pay out...

#345I see no difference at all with betting into a bad line, kero. Except that it is compounded here.
That doesn't mean I would ever play at the 5D casino, or at any online casino. If the odds can be skewed that much in the player's favor, guess what...Comment -

#347so when you advertise something for a price..then someone gives you the price your asking for, thats stealing? YOU fail to read between the lines horribly on this one...and isnt it called "being a smart player" when a player searches and takes advantage of a weaknesses in a game????? last time i checked handicapping was the process of finding value in a line right??? so pretty much your saying that every handicapper is cheating cuz they are betting on a line that they know is weak instead of being good boys and girls and informing the book about it...cuz yeah its not fair for the player to win at a game were ummm hes not "suppose" to win....LMFAOOOOO
There is nothing new under the sun here. It's a bad line. Period.Comment -
